  1. Imagine going that fast while that close to other planes going that fast? Looking down at the land/water made me actually want to travel again. I thought I HAD HAD ENOUGH! Cool, Kid!

  2. Cool in the extreme. We see them flying here all the time and they always create excitement among the on lookers.

    1. Mustang, I know they practice every day. Darn nice to be close enough to see them.

  3. Love it. The only way to improve upon this would be a video with Tommy Emmanuel and Joe Satriani playing dueling guitars in the cockpit while the pilot performs card tricks among 2 dozen cats.

    1. Eckshuley, I’d like to see the Blue Angels in direct support of a company of Marines surrounded by 10,000 screaming meemies, fly over the Marine position at tree top level and drop tons of napalm on said meemies, which then worked as a signal for the Marines to attack and send whoever was still alive into the promised land. Few things are more motivating than a Naval Aviator flying close air support because when the Navy/Marine Corps does close air support, you can almost reach up out of your foxhole and touch the wing as they pass overhead. Can't hear with a crap for a week, but it's something you never forget.

    1. Sam, the E/F model price is 70.5 million as of 2017. However the C/D models were selling for 29 million as of 2006.

Note that the FA-18's flown by the Blue Angels are stripped down a bit and all are airplanes retired by the Navy, then rebuilt to perform as needed by the Blues.
