Space fascinates me, and what a shame it is that no one in our lifetime will be able to travel very deeply into space. I suspect that we would never be able to see the Heart Nebula, except from afar. No matter, we should continue working toward the ability to travel through Space-Time. Forlornly, the leftists have already called “Dibs” on one of the more likely venues for traveling in Space-Time. We call them worm holes; they are for "morons only." This makes me sad.
Mustang, Well - Einstein has been right on everything so far and if that holds true, we will never be able to travel faster than the speed of light. This makes getting somewhere worthwhile in your lifetime impossible. I'd say God gave us these things to look at but don't touch. If there are alien civilizations I believe we are kept apart for good reason.
Worm holes made large enough to travel through require more energy than is imaginable. Then how do you know where you'd end up or that reversing direction would take you back from whence you came.
Plus I'm happy to leave it up to crazy people to try to figure out how to make Pizza on Mars even. I read where Martian soil has an element that is deadly even to bacteria.
Is that Gandalf in the center?
ReplyDeleteYes Ed.
DeleteI heart this nebula :)
ReplyDeleteMe too Cube. Love the colors too. Blue represents Oxygen. That's a lot of oxygen.
DeleteBlue is my favorite color. Maybe that's why I like it so much.
DeleteAnd it's a wonderful shade of blue.
