I know he was a liberal, but he wasn't a stupid liberal. Who knows where his opinions would've been today. I'm just saying that I would have loved to hear his opinions, pro or con.
Z, I think the only ones who would pay for telescope time would be maybe amateur astronomers who know what their target is to study, maybe those in related university class. But for free, if I can say I want to look at some area of the Orion nebula or something that might be interesting. Personally, I'm happier looking at the images published by APOD as they are colorized, often include may images merged into fantastic detail, etc. If I look at something in my telescope I only see a light blue thingamabob. I'm not inclined to get the thing out when so many fantastc images are now available on the net.
They won't show me the dark side of the moon.
ReplyDeleteI can show it to you Ed. It won't be cheap though.

DeleteI love me my Zappa. I always have. I would love to hear his take on our current political state of affairs.
ReplyDeleteCube, his take on our political situation is the same as it was in Sept, 1973 The Slime. As smart as he was he seemed to favor the democrats. Odd.
