Billionaire Trump Supporter Dies in Helicopter Crash

You Decide.

I have no bet either way.  I will tell you that I would never get on a small aircraft with a pilot I didn't know and trust to the extreme.

  1. Could have been anything, though....a sudden problem with the copter, etc...I used to fly a LOT on the company small plane and trusted the crew completely, knew them well, but you never know! :-(
Sorry it was a guy who gives big bucks to Trump. Handsome man, too! Sad.

    5. Don't forget Senators John Hines, John Tower and Paul Wellstone.

And then there was Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly over the Atlantic, but she disappeared over the Pacific in 1937 while attempting to circumnavigate the globe. Her remains and those of her navigator Fred Noonan have never been found.

    1. Bunk, I knew a couple guys that had pilots licenses for small planes while a young guy. The planes have to have various things serviced, or rebuilt on a very strict number of hours schedule. Each pane has a log sheet, and when buying a used plane that can be used to evaluate the condition of the place - for one thing.

I just don't know, or have a lot of confidence anyway that someone is making sure these things get done, or that they're done properly. The guy that graduated at the bottom of the aircraft mechanic school is still called mechanic..

    2. Me either, and I won't fly commercial anymore since 911, because I'll be God-damned to HELL before I'd let strangers poke around my genitals or force me to take my shoes off in public, etc.

Besides, everyone LOOKS so UNATTRACTIVE, and is so fuckin' RUDE today virtually ALL the pleasure has gone out of travel.

I once thought I'd love to take leisurely tours of all the European countries after I retired. NO MORE!

I should have taken the time to do it years ago when it could still have been enjoyable. Now I'm legally BLIND, bothered by DIABETIC NEUROPATHY and ARTHRITIS, and happy to live out the remainder of my days as an Old Stick-in-the-Mud.

    3. Franco, I had a vision very soon (days) after 9/11 and the way travel is now is exactly how I envisioned it. Which in 25 words or less is a process which has been infested by the government down to the lowest level ( fucking with people in airports) by the federal US government who have fucked it up beyond recognition just like they do with everything they touch.

At the same time I also recognized that the moslem vermin would never attempt this again because the 'let them have the plane' Rule of Engagement has now been eliminated. All they need to do is friendly scans of carry on and major scans of luggage to be loaded into cargo.

I was in UK in 1990 and flying through Heathrow. They had 'terrorism' to deal with and they dealt with it without fucking with the passengers.

The TSA might be valid if they were competent but tests prove they miss grenades and all kinds of shit that testers carry on. They're a total waste of time and money. I think this was just a GW Bush employment program.
