Those Poor Millennials !!!

LOL.  Ok, at one time in my life early on, I could occasionally get stressed about bills.  I didn't have much money and had no idea about White Privilege in those days.  (Who knew a white guy could just go to a certain place and people would hand them stacks of $100 bills...)
Well, lets show some empathy and hope they can find a way to make it through the rest of their pathetic lives...  Hey kids, time to wash the dishes ! lol.
Here are the top 20 stressful scenarios reported by millennials:
1. Losing wallet/credit card
2. Arguing with partner
3. Commute/traffic delays
4. Losing phone
5. Arriving late to work
6. Slow WiFi

  3. ... This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

    ~ T.S. Eliot - The Wasteland

Looks like Eliot may have been a prophet after all. Although I am sure "The World" per se will never end.

God's Creation is eternal, although it never stops changing. What appears to be ending is that remarkable period in human history once known as Western Civilization.

Why not? Western Civ. has outlasted The Golden Age of Pericles by millennia. The glories of ancient Egypt, Greece, Assyria, Babylon, Rome passed away long ago. NOTHING LASTS, except Almighty God.

I take comfort in these words by St. Teresa of Avila:

    Let nothing disturb thee ––
    ___ nothing affright thee
    All things are passing.
    God never changeth.
    In whom God pleaseth
    ___ in nothing is lacking.
    Alone, God sufficeth.

~ St. Teresa of Avila – Lines Written in her Breviary
as translated by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

    2. You may not get the chance to do even that, Kid, if the explosion hits by surprise. It would be like the victims of Pompeii and Herculaneum –– thousands of lives SNUFFED OUT in SECONDS after being engulfed in molten lava.

But I wouldn't worry about it, if I were you. When something you can't do anything about happens, it's best to bow to the inevitable as gracefully as you can –– not that I would you understand? };^)>

    2. "When Duty calls, and says, "Thou must," the youth repies, "I can."

~ Ralph Waldo Emerson on "Courage"

I doubt any of us knows what we are capable of when pressed by circumstances into dire straits. Even the "snowflakes" have souls, however retarded their development, and the will to live is So strong and so INNATE, I believe these pampered, over-protected powder puffs WILL find the strength to do what they must in order to survive –– and even if they don't succeed, I believe they will die TRYING.

Drowning men never give up the struggle to stay afloat until they are completely exhausted, and finally sink beneath the waves never to return.

I’m convinced that most of them will sit around whining instead of fighting.

    4. I don't know Franco, suicide rates are way up for younger people. STD's too. And taking the Devil's advocate position, I'd bet they don't have the tools to learn how to swim once they hit the water.
