  2. I love the P-38 myself. And the P-51 of course. I was on a golf course in Arizona 15 years ago or so, and while standing on the tee, which was next to a small airstrip used mainly for small private planes, a B-19 came flying out right over our heads with those 4 huge propellers cutting through the air.

Seemed like you could reach up and touch it. Couldn't have been more than 100 feet. That thing was cool.

  3. I have several pic of this plane. The first pic over the mountains was my wall paper.
I know someone at NASA, and said that this plane was a spy plane.
On the left side I have a e-mail link. If you click it-it will open your email and my address will be in the to field. I will send you some pic of several NASA planes and hubble pics.

  4. They say, Yes, it was built for the sole purpose of spying to replace the U2. As the pilot says in the article, these things kept 24 hour watch on the Russian nuke subs and all the move-able land based warheads. Probably the single greatest contributor to the end of the cold war, outside of Ronald Reagan. ;-)

How about sending them to here_a_kid_there_a_kid@yahoo.com
You'll have to let me know when you email something there as I don't check it often, and sometimes just go in and delete everything en mass.

    Thanks.

  6. They Say, Thanks for the pictures. I'm also a collector since you can't assume they'll always be available on the net.

  7. Teresa, Glad you read and enjoyed. I always get a lump in my throat reading stuff like that because it is all about why America is the greatest. Russia, or some socialist hellhole would never invent something like that eh? ;-)

Kelly Johnnson was the man. P-38, F-104, SR71 and many others that kept America at the top of the food chain.
