Let's Do a Clean George Carlin

Yea, why did they never show how the Indians prepared for battle?

  1. There is no way anyone could do this routine who didn't serve in the armed forces. Carlin, I believe, was in the Air Force. His routine sounds exactly like those I've heard delivered by NCOs. Very funny stuff, Kid.

    1. Mustang, He was in the Air Force and got kicked out. (I recently watched a youtube of him describing his career)

It occurred to me a little while ago, how he went from 'pure entertainment' to pulling in more and more of his observations of the human condition, which is not very good overall and still kept it funny. I've often thought of myself as being an observer of the human condition over my lifetime. And I do try to keep it funny. Cause, what the hell.

  2. VERY funny! Imagine him even using the term INDIAN today? Oh, the problems! It's so good to hear good humor..no insults intended, doesn't have to be politically correct....just good, clean fun.
Thanks for the break, Kid :-)

    2. Good humor is never politically correct. That's the thing, isn't it? We must not, as a nation, lose our sense of humor. I call Indians Indians ... because that's what they are.

    3. PC is trying to kill everything in our culture. These idiot kids may end up locked up in their efficiency apartment paid for by Bernie Sanders and his 19 mansions by then, and afraid to move for fear of offending some piece of moslem vermin savage garbage. Would Serve em right as George would say.

  3. Except for that unmistakable Noo Yawk accent, the cleancut, almost preppy looking Carlin of 1965 was completely unrecognizable from the grubby, foul-mouthed, hard-bitten cynic we came to know so well in latter years.

But even fifty-four years ago hair neatly combed and dressed in a sports jacket and tie Carlin could never have been mistaken for a nona fid member of the then-WASP Establishment.

    The AUDIENCE sure loved him!

    1. Franco, there's a youtube where he talks about how his career developed. He originally wanted to be like a Danny Kaye and be in movies and at some point, he realized how screwed up everything was. How much bullshit was actually out there. Hint, it's everywhere.
