How in The hell did Chevrolet go from possibly the best catch phrase for an auto company "See the USA in your Chevrolet" to one of the worst "Find New Roads".  I can see a guy saying to his wife "Lets go see the USA in our Chevy."  I can't see anyone saying "Let's go find a new road". Why would anyone do that?

Kids Committing Suicide Because the Place Sucks - Change My Mind

 Young people are committing suicide more than in the past. 

According to the CDC (yea well) ...

"Suicide rates increased 33% between 1999 and 2019, with a small decline in 2019. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States.3 It was responsible for more than 47,500 deaths in 2019, which is about one death every 11 minutes.3 The number of people who think about or attempt suicide is even higher. In 2019, 12 million American adults seriously thought about suicide, 3.5 million planned a suicide attempt, and 1.4 million attempted suicide.4

Suicide affects all ages. It is the second leading cause of death for people ages 10-34, the fourth leading cause among people ages 35-44, and the fifth leading cause among people ages 45-54.3

Some groups have higher suicide rates than others. Suicide rates vary by race/ethnicity, age, and other factors. The highest rates are among American Indian/Alaska Native and non-Hispanic White populations.3 Other Americans with higher than average rates of suicide are veterans, people who live in rural areas, and workers in certain industries and occupations like mining and construction.5,6 Young people who are lesbian, gay, or bisexual have a higher rate of suicidal ideation and behavior compared to their peers who identify as straight.​7"​

Suicides likely went down in 2019 because Donald Trump had the country for 3 years and things were improving.

Since we can't ask the kids otherwise, my personal theory is that kids are committing suicide ​because of bullying, social media bullying, parents creating weak children, and first and foremost because kids are totally immersed in bullshit from the outside world but not least of all by parents and teachers.  Add in an increasing lack of structure in their lives.

Bullshit about the climate, racism, education, news, advertising, and most everything else.

If they're white they're being told that the problems with blacks and the climate are their fault because they are white people living in a capitalist society.  In addition, people, especially kids,  need structure in their life and they find themselves living in a world where there is little structure left.  Crime is welcomed in many areas, music sucks and is often immoral, untalented, and uninspiring.   Yesterday we had the Beatles love songs - today you got Cardi-B's wet ass genitals.

Their parents are dragging them into the disgusting world of politics.

Before they even have any grip on gender, teachers are telling them they may not be what they think they are. They might be a boy, a girl, or a beautiful jellyfish.

Vermin are running around all over the place raping, murdering, and worse. 

If the kids are girls, tranny boys are invading their bath and shower rooms and sporting competitions and this is all welcomed by everyone else involved.  If they walk off the field there is a good chance they'll be punished in some way.

When they go out of their house they are surrounded by people dressed like bums who are heavily tattooed to look like the inside of comic books.

When they watch TV, they are bombarded by drug commercials telling them that later in life they likely will be afflicted by any number of debilitating health problems and the drugs to treat these problems are likely to cause other problems via listed side effects.

Celebrities and media and some teachers tell these kids that because they are white, they suck.

A wide collection of idiots across media and entertainment tell them the world isn't going to be around much longer because of global warming. Many believe this nonsense.  

If they're growing up in some section 8 hellhole, they see their future all around them in the form of gangbangers, S. Detroit a prime example, but many more cities around the country.  This is LBJ's great society that he stole social security $ to create.

Any kid with half a brain is saying to themselves all day long "WTF".  I think the task of getting around all this is just too daunting for lots of kids.

Parents need to get a grip.

According to the FDA, the Vaccines are Killing More Than Saving

Since I brought it up, let me add that I recently read a report published on the UK Government's website showing that around 400 vaccinated people had died of Covid and the Delta variant.  Can't remember the time period for the statistic but to me who cares.  Vaccinated people dying.  Why should I take on that risk when I simply don't think I have to.

I've seen other reports of death or serious consequences, often heart related, in conjunction with vaccinated people. Young people in particular.  I'm not going to include any of that since the references may not be considered as in line with real events by any given person.

To My Fellow Wool Growers

The main activity of government is to shear the middle class of as much money as possible without killing the economy.

Keeping it brief because folks either get it or not, so why make you read a lot.

The government has the line on all economic data.  It all gets reported at regular intervals by banks, employers, retail outlets, etc.

Some of the statistics du jour include such things as personal debt, personal savings, retail sales, employment percentage.  There is a multitude of data the government get notified of and keep track of.  By the way, currently, banks are required to tell the government about transactions of $10,000.00 or more.  Now they want that threshold down to $600.00. what does that tell you.  I know what it tells me.

This is all supposedly because the government wants to keep the economy healthy for us - the sheep, the wool growers.  That is only partially correct.  They also want to know how much money (extra wool) the sheep have available to them.  When the sheep are flush with wool, the government finds ways to increase taxes, gas prices, and other transitory non-permanent prices.  Taxes and gas prices can always be set back and they often are when the golden goose begins looking a little pekid.

When gas and energy prices go up, the costs to produce and ship products and provide services instantly goes up as well.

When retail prices go up so does the absolute value of tax the governments collect.  6.5% sales tax on $120.00 is more in absolute value than 6.5% on $95.00.  Government says "Yippeee".

Why are gas prices going up? Why are taxes going up?

My personal theory is that current economic statistics tell the government that the population is flush with cash generally speaking, and they want it.  The government and their corporate pals that is.

I think there are some other indicators in plain sight, such as:

• people buying "smart water" for 1.99 for 32 oz.
• people buying small bottles of pills labeled fruit and vegetable for $100.00 per !

I'm sure you can think of more examples.

Now, George Carlin made things pretty clear in this excerpt from one of his performances.  If you don't know George, be aware that there will be LANGUAGE involved.

This doesn't mean that people can't win, whatever winning means to you.  People can have a good life, fun, comfortable, rewarding.  I just think it's handy to know what you're dealing with.  The government is Not here to make anything better for people.  The government has evolved into entities that spend their time keeping the people in fear of everything, all the time, so that we don't get a chance to focus on what the real threat is - the government.

My unsolicited advice is not to worry about Covid, China, Russia, Climate, Plastic, UFOs, or any of the other million things that are supposed threats to our existence, especially when they are being used as an excuse to lift more $ out of your wallet.  Forget about it all.  Have some fun and, like me, just sit back and watch the freak show.  Don't Worry.  Be Happy.

The American people didn’t invent motorized vehicles, but the government thought they’d be a neat idea as part of the military’s arsenal, and to inspire private companies to produce them en mass, encouraged the American people to purchase them in the millions.  So we should all be thankful for a government that, on the one hand, encourages us to purchase them, and use them, while at the same time punishes us in the form of gasoline taxes to operate them, and make us feel guilty for creating global warming by doing so.  And, um ... also feel guilty about not having much interest in electrical cars.

 

2. We should also be thankful for a government that encourages us to have a healthy diet, while at the same time complains about the additional methane healthy foods create, such as “heart healthy grain cereals,” which exacerbates the global warming problem government created.

 

3. We should be thankful for a government that first spends the taxpayer’s money for viral research, from labs located in a country that seeks the downfall of our country, produces a virus, sends it throughout the world to infect us, and then demands that everyone get inoculated “to save us” from the virus they helped create.

 

4. We ought to give thanks for a government that devises policies that creates high unemployment, and then adopts other policies that encourages illegal immigration and opens the doors to tens-of-thousands of refugees of cultures who seek to kills us, which then makes it more difficult to find work ... for Americans.

 

5. Let’s also give thanks for a government whose policies transforms our society from one of E Pluibus Unum to “it’s all Whitey’s fault.”

 

6. We need to appreciate a government that first “allows us” to have an internet, and then tries to use it to keep us from speaking our mind on it.

 

7. It would be nice to show appreciation to a government that first creates a national drug addiction problem and then makes tons of money from the backs of taxpayers paying for its after-effects — all in the spirit of making our lives better.

 

8. All of us should be grateful to a government that gets our country involved in very expensive wars that it never intends to win, and for the policies that make other people around the world hate our guts, so that we all have to stand in longer lines at the airport to make sure that none of us are wrapping ourselves in explosives before getting on planes.

 

I’m sure we could find a few “New Year’s Resolutions” in the foregoing, if we put our minds to it ... but that’s for another time.

Board Meeting at Salvation Army Fall 2021

As the Salvation Army board meeting begins, Chairman Bill presents his opening remarks...

As you all know, this year will be particularly hard on many more of our cherished neighbors.  People on the street without homes including military folks who were pushed out of service for refusing the life giving vaccine.  Mothers shivering next to run down businesses trying to keep their little baby girls alive by feeding them snow.  Let's not forget our newly acquired unaccompanied minors without food or shelter from places like Mexico, Honduras, Afghanistan, and other nightmare places.  Many more suffering this holiday season and into the foreseeable future.   I'd like to throw this out to the group for their ideas on how we can increase donations so we can help more of these people.

Lucille Wyatte Reynolds stands and after stating her and her group have been working on this very thing, they have come up with advertisements for TV and internet video showing these very people suffering in the streets.  Overlaying these images is a translucent video of older folks ringing bells and standing by the brightly colored donation buckets.  As the money pours into the buckets by well to do passers by, the images of the suffering people fade and eventually disappear from view. The end of the advert shows people consisting of the donators and the almost saintly collectors manning the collection buckets standing in huge groups all shouting "We Did It" as they smile and dump even more hard earned cash into the bright red buckets.

Bill seems pleased but just then, LaQaudo Johnson, the new diversity hire for the board stands and says "Bill, I have another suggestion.. I suggest we place ads consisting of our African-American brothers and sisters moving around in some Jive Ass fashion in front of our section 8 houses and all rapping out - This season we want all you white crackers to come into our neighborhoods and kiss our black asses while begging us to forgive you for your constant racism and sheeeeit- ".

Lucille looks disgusted but Bill looks thoughtful for a few moments and explains to the group "You know if our board is going to be truly diverse, we can't just dismiss the ideas of our new diversity members, we must put our mouths where our money is.  We will go with LaQuado's advertising plan"

Roseanne, quiet at the end of the meeting table mutters to herself "I knew this diversity shit was a bad idea.."

Juliette and Mia.  Juliette is 17 I believe, and Mia is younger. 

There are folks out there doing music reviews, but I sure like these two.  For as young as they are it is entertaining and heartwarming that they are getting into this music from mostly the 70's onward.

They get into to it and pick up on the lyrics, the nuances of the compositions and Mia especially seems to hear and get into every part of the music as they listen to these tunes for the first time.

They usually have a great set in the background and wear t-shirts for the artists when they have them.  Their dad and relatives got them interested.

Enjoy them rocking out to ZZ Top and Sharp Dressed Man.
