Z, That's a thought that come to my mind often. That we will be able to explore the universes(s) in the afterlife. Well, given Eternity is a long time, I would want to take my time exploring it all. I do believe we'd never see it all though even in eternity. There's just too much. Imagine admiring a rock in the Grand Canyon, then an entire galaxy, then all the rocks and other things in that galaxy. That must take some time :)
God gave Adam and Eve a garden to explore and maintain. Many of us believe that he'll give the faithful the universe to explore and maintain. Like watching your kids open their presents.
Looks like winning to me! Only 750 light years away...lucky us :) Thanks...
ReplyDeleteBunkerville - :-) The experts say 10 trillion galaxies. Imagine if we could see them all. Most of this stuff comes from just our own.
DeleteImagine if we could see it all at once...all of it! Maybe that's heaven?!!! HA!

DeleteI see a seagull supercharging its bowels and getting ready to visit me on my beach blanket. Does that make me a pessimist?
ReplyDeleteMr Blade, I believe that makes you an orinthologist. A pessimistic one.
DeleteHa! My 'beaker' is half empty.
DeleteIt looks for all the world like a creature that's half-insect, half-salamader.
ReplyDeleteNot a very comforting or reassuring image!
Franco, I'd say space is much more dangerous than it looks.
DeleteIt looks like two infinity symbols bisecting. Infinity squared.
