Whatever Money Spent On Hubble

was Infinitesimal. Probably 15 seconds of any liberal project could have inhaled the same amount of money and provided zero return on investment and already been forgotten.(Well, we'd actually be still pouring money down the gullet)

Anyway, Today's Pic

Though it should be noted that some of the ground based telescope arrays with their corrective software and mechanics can do -or I've read- better.

  1. The pictures we have from the Hubble are priceless. I wonder what Galileo would have thought if he could have seen just one Hubble Telescope picture?

  2. Dean O. Yes, and imagine all those countless men and women through the ages who dreamed of walking on the moon.

We live in truly wondrous times.
Depending on your point of view. :)

  3. I'm so proud that Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is right here in Pasadena.

  4. I'm a big fan of the space program, I even love Tang! I'm disturbed by recent NASA cuts. I'm all for cutting spending, but cutting NASA's budget really makes little difference.

  5. "Whatever Money Spent On Hubble" . . . Was not enough money in my opinion.

  6. Just imagine if they could have spent more along with what the results could have been. I am glad it is up there shooting away.

  7. Thanks for your comments folks. To all: The cost of the NASA programs in relation to the rest of the Fed Budget is little more than a rounding error.

Once again the asshole in the White House dicks around with important things that cost Nothing to try to make political points.

The majority of what the Dems do is all directed at misdirection and spinning reality. They are pathological. They'd actually be better off with the truth sometimes but they don't have the ability to speak it anymore.

It shows what their priorities are and what their lack of respect for the citizens is. Nothing matters to those sociopathic bastards.

My obvious distaste for them has to do with a lot more than just the space programs.

  8. Kid, I think they are actively trying to hurt the heart of patriotic Americans by cutting NASA. They really hate us.

    Pretty picture.

  9. Yeah, Kid, Obama makes a big deal out of all the cuts to miniscule programs, but spends gazillions on pie in the sky stimuli and troubled asset relief programs.

  10. I agree with all the comments, Kid. Obummer is cutting this program, along with many important others, as a slap in the face to true Americans.
Thanks for posting the cool hubble photos.

  11. Opus, they hate capitalism. They hate free enterprise. They hate the idea of a country full of free people that they have little control of.

Children that think they know better is exactly what they are.

  12. Fredd, Yes, exactly. it's all behind the curtain dog and pony shows and lip service while the machine chews up anything productive.

    They're host destroying parasites.

  13. Bunni, Exactly.
The Orion program, which would put America back int the business of transporting its own astronauts to the ST and back, as well as provide for going to the moon again (if for no other reason than strategic) - cost 3 billion, and only needs another 3 billion.

The 9000 earmarks stole many times that which they gave it to their friends and laundered for themselves.

Or how about Billions spent each year on the Dept of Energy that has a mandate of reducing our dependency on foreign sources of oil that hasn't accomplished Jack in the 4 decades it has been in business sucking tax money.

    It's like some sick cartoon.
