Perspective

Don't torture yourself, just watch the first couple minutes, and look at the expression of each and everyone in the frame.

UPDATE: I just had to add, if you don't watch the whole thing and why would you, move the slider to about the 10:22 mark and watch the last 10 seconds or so. At the end you hear a bunch of vocal applause but STILL there isn't a ONE of the men in the frame standing around Obama that even hints at approval or a smile or anything of the sort that would give you the slightest impression that they wouldn't rather be somewhere else. That is disapproval in the extreme. Those men were placed there like freakin ornaments and they know it.

Now for the persepective. This is September 3, 2007, after these men and women have been pouring out blood, sweat and tears, and dodging bullets for America for over 4 years, separated from their wives, husbands, children, friends and other family. See and hear any difference ?

H/T - USA ADMIRAL

Explanation: The men and women in the George Bush video knew that George Bush would NOT let their sacrifice or the sacrifice of their friends and comrades in arms ever be in vain while he was their leader. He wouldn't let the Dems in congress screw them over either. They knew that they were there for victory and nothing less. Victory would be the only acceptable outcome. Victory did come via Gen Petreaus and the COIN strategy in Iraq.

Supporting the Troops means supporting the mission, because the mission is why they sacrifice, and why their families sacrifice. You can't do something like this if you're not committed to the mission and well over 80% were. How do I now this. Because 86% of the National Guard Troops who were the first on scene on 2003 and screwed over by not being allowed to return on schedule, and in fact left in place far longer than anticipated Supported George Bush After they returned.

Yes, mistakes were made, but this is a far cry from a pretend Commander in Chief who can't even make up his fucking mind while Their comrades in arms are being over-run and killed in Afghanistan. They know Obama is playing politics with their lives and the lives of their friends, some of which have already been lost. That's what the look on their faces tell you. They know their fate is now in the hands of those Democrat Bastards like Kerry, Murtha, Obama, Reid and the rest of them who cried that Iraq was lost and did little more than try to ensure defeat in Iraq, and worst of all give 24/7 aid and comfort to the enemy with their pathetic rhetoric for more than 5 years.

  1. The voice of Obama makes my skin crawl. I watched only a few minutes of that first video... all I could stand. His arrogance permeates every word.

  2. Linda, Hence my advice :)

I'm with you. I can't stand to listen to him read from a tele-prompter (since that's all he does). There is not a sincere word that finds the light of day.

It is all BS. 100% BS.

  3. This is a really great post. The second video warmed my heart and broke it again. I feel so sad for our fighting men and women and families, at the mercy of Obama and his minions. They know they fight for America, and sadly the CIC is not on board with their valiant mission. May we all have the strength to bring about CHANGE to America and bring back leaders who value our fighting forces and value free America.

  4. Opus, I would be beside myself if I didn't know that the vast majority of our military know this sort of thing comes with the territory.

A small consolation I know, but one none the less.

  5. Wow. What a contrast.

The supposed "dummie" spoke with confidence, and knew what he wanted to say because it came from his heart.

The "eloquent one" stumbles over himself - while reading from an effing teleprompter no less...

and the difference in the cheers from those to whom each man speaks...

What a sad time this is for America.

  6. Soloman, We made it through 8 years of clinton, though I wonder how many body blows America can take from the communists.

Clinton strangled the intelligence community and cut from 1/3 to 1/2 the military and threw their budget in the trash. Many more quit the service as a result, and it is the best, not the worst who quit under such circumstances.

How much more can America take?
    Can it be repaired ?

It won't be repaired by a 2001 - 2007 style Republican White House and Congress that had a majority and did Nothing domestically.

Pretty scary. Dems fuck things up and drive the car several miles down the hill. Repubs come in and at best put the brake on to keep it from sliding further but don't do enough to repair the damage.

Elections may be a false hope at this point. No party can stay in power.

  8. The sailors behind President Obama look like they are waiting in line for a root canal with a prostrate exam chaser.

  9. It is a terrible thing to see. Until Obama pulls his head out there will be many more brave Military personnel die in service to this great country.

    Thanks for the nod sir.

  10. What a stunning difference. This President is gutless, and it shows in the spiritless speech.

  12. Labcat, they don't know or could understand that to support the troops, you support their mission.

Using your example, it like saying I support you my child but I can't support your homework.

The mission is why these people are in a sandbox in 140 degrees fighting to keep innocent people alive and make the entire country a strong vibrant tree of freedom.
They aren't doing it for medals, or paychecks, or GI benefits. They fight for the vast majority of Iraqis and Afghans who were and are at the hands of vermin.

It took many decades for America's independence to be felt and recognized.

  13. Arby, Great Description! They do know now he is an empty suit. A racist. An anti-American.

They aren't going to like that.

    USA Admiral. Sad.

  14. Nickie, even the quip about the aircraft around the 12 second mark was emotionless and stumbled over and probably written by some 20 something liberal idiot sitting behind a desk.

Obama isn't even up to speed on what he needs to study regards the military. No clue. None.

  16. Wow, great video kid. I can't stand looking at him. I actually turned down the sound, and put my fingers over his face on the screen.....thus I could watch and listen. The reactions were priceless. He is a travesty and a poser and I really need to go puke now listening to his hyprocracy. I know our Brave Military feel just like we all do. That eye roll was Priceless.

(I'm sure some liberal troll will attack me because I spelled hyprocracy wrong, well, spell check didn't know it either ;-)

  17. This is a fantastic post! It is so clear that BO has NO CLUE about our military and that his waffling craziness just pisses them off (and me, for that matter).

President Bush got the welcome he deserved here, and I'm proud of him now, as I was then. Our military is the best-trained force in the world, and the fact that President Bush not only knew that but truly supported them (not fake lip service support) is the true difference between a Commander in Chief and a radical loon who spouts a lot of meaningless drivel.

  18. Bunni, Yea, you listen to him read from the teleprompter, you know there is NOTHING there.

No experience to allow him to actually relate to one iota of what these military people are, let alone Do.
No emotion. No understanding. Just a bunch of words falling from trees, blown away and forgotten 10 seconds later. Worthless. Less than worthless.

As they say, keep your mouth shut and they have to guess whether you're an idiot, Speak and leave no doubt.

Yes, Empty suit is an understatement.
