  1. Considering the speed of light, the time it will take us to learn the facts of what happened is quite telling about the distances involved. Here's what I do not understand: given the belief that there was a super nova, then what is the source of that light? So many questions, so little time.

    1. Sam, Light travels at 186,000 (and change) miles per second. I'm sure you now that. Anyway, those darned exploding stars that put heavy metals such as gold into the universe get pretty damn bright when they explode. Maybe even as bright as Alexandria O-Cortez when she remembers how to make a vodka tonic for a paying customer.

    1. Z, No One Knows. No one knows anything. All things are theories. Even undeniable mathematical things are little more than theories.
