The Witches Broom Nebula

Lets not go there.... Anyhoo:

Ten thousand years ago, before the dawn of recorded human history, a new light would suddenly have appeared in the night sky and faded after a few weeks. Today we know this light was from a supernova, or exploding star, and record the expanding debris cloud as the Veil Nebula, a supernova remnant.....

  1. Are you getting these made by that disheveled artist on Daytona Beach pier with several cans of spray paint and a stack of paper? I've seen that dude!

    1. DaBlade, Ms Z puts these together for me in her watercolor studio. In this case, I added some of the dots.

    2. Yes, I do! But, first, I go UP there and soak it all in, really remembering every detail, then I fly right back down and put paint to paper.....I guess I should feel insulted; I'd been hoping DaBlade liked them!

    3. DaBlade,

You paint a mighty unflattering picture of Almighty God!

Be careful! You might get zapped when you least expect it.

  2. ___ THE IMPOSSIBE DREAM ___

    To dream the impossible dream
    To fight the unbeatable foe
    To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
    To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
    To reach the unreachable star

    This is my quest
    To follow that star
    No matter how hopeless
    No matter how far

    To fight for the right
    Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
    For a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true
    To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
    To reach the unreachable stars

  3. Your WITCHS BROOM links more like a Gushing Stream of Water frozen in midair the second it escaped from a Celestial Hose.

It also resembles a Steep Frozen HILLSIDE partially revealed at dawn promising potential Climbers a chilly, highly perilous journey.

    1. To me it looks like the next Supersonic Passenger Transport aircraft configured that it does not produce a sonic boom, it only produces a sonic kittykat meow as it races across the sky.

But we can go with your vision. :)

    4. AN ENCOURAGING THOUGHT (WRITTEN WITH "HER" IN MIND):

_____ Our Hope for the Nation _____

      A bilious temperament may shower
Many a lush and fragrant bower
      With noxious regurgitation
      Withering blooms and vegetation.
But roots of every healthy plant
      Remain immune to toxic cant.
And soon the stench will clear away
As Beauty returns renewed by Decay

    1. Well, in my mind we are there to take out ISIS, good thing, and deal with an internationally condemned practice of using chemical weapons - not sure we're in a war with Syria there.
