    1. That was my first thought Ed. A Heart.

    2. YES! Egg-ZACK-Lee!

A huge HEART, but it looks scratched, nicked, dented and wreathed in vapor.

Could God's Heart be wounded and aching because of the way we, His children, are behaving?

    4. Ed, I don't see why not. They can download the high resolution image from the APOD site and have at it.

    5. Do you see the Universe as MALEVOLENT, Les?

      What a depressing thought!

I see it as BENEVOLENT. It has to be, because God made it, and He is good.

"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

      ~ Genesis 1:31 (KJV)

Remember the days before Gloria Steinem

    3. My comment disappeared, I'll shorten it...

FT, Are women happier now than they were in the days of being in charge of the home, spending the day with friends, credit cards, and whatever else?

If Mad made enough money I'd stay home and take care of most of the house, gather with friends, go golfing, etc.

  6. As I read the description, "...glowing gas surrounds hot young stars..." I was immediately reminded of our buddy, Harvey Weinstein for some reason.
