The Media

The media being TV, cable news, talk radio, online "news".

The media to me anymore is little more than someone inviting someone on their show or into their article to spew inciteful polarized rhetoric for the purpose of getting people fired up, sending emails, making calls, posting comments.

Those places all look like this.

This is interspersed with a car accident somewhere in America.  There are only 357,890 of them a day.  The news usually ends with a puppy being rescued from a drain pipe.

None of it is meant to inform you about anything.  It is meant to either generate ad revenue, or generate ad revenue and work a Soros or Democrat based agenda item.

I'm not going to play anymore, outside of doing the occasional drive-by for laughs.

  1. Watching or Reading the media makes you misinformed.

    Employment up.
    Stock Market up.
    Illegal Border Crossings down.
    National Debt down.

Trump is is doing what he promised and that is is driving the Liberal Media NUTZ!

    1. Mr Hecht. Yep. Real numbers too. When big companies say they are building in the US and not elsewhere and hiring thousands of employees, it's not hard to believe a rise in employment.

      Also
      - moslems heading to Canada
      - real deportations up, starting with the criminals that odumbo put back on the street.
Reading that kind of actual event news is going to make it a fun 4 years and hopefully 8.

    1. Ed, Washingtontimes.com isn't bad. About the only 'news' site where I actually read some of the articles. I stay away from the opinion pieces. Who cares.

It's all very deliberate, and I think it's truly WICKED.

    2. Z, Aggravate too. Yes. What FT said.

The only thing they could do now that will bother me is find a way to get rid of Trump AND Pence. Not going to happen. And no amount of anything I could do would prevent it anyway if it were to.

Looking forward to hearing the good stuff and ignoring all the crap.

    1. AOW, All out war. Has been and will be until, hopefully the voters will make them completely impotent. After they realize they're shouting at a wall and each other for about 10 years, maybe they'll go away :)

The best thing you can possibly do with a libtard is ignore them.

    2. I don't get it. There's some kind of dustup between a FOX reporter and a reporter from Gateway Pundit and all of a sudden Gateway Pundit is posting that it's being attacked by the liberal media.

      Seems like hysteria.

I believe Gateway is still claiming Obama was born in Kenya. Not a high quality outlet.

      Delete
    3. Whatever quality Gateway Pundit is or isn't doesn't excuse the behavior of the established reporters.

    4. duck, the birth certificate is fake.

As the article states, it does not focus on where obama was born but here are a couple questions.
-If someone was born in Hawaii, why is it apparently impossible to come up with a legitimate copy of the birth cert. Absurd, you need this document for all sorts of other things such as a passport. Hawaii not being able to produce a bona-fide borth certificate should have been the focus.
-Why put out a fake birth certificate that is so easily outed, and
-Why if obama's mommy was a US citizen, meaning the POS has US citizenship, go through all these maschinations over the birth thing?

And 3, why did obammy refuse to release any of his academic records? Yea, he released his tax records, but since he never worked an honest day in his life, what's the big whup about that?

    5. There's a blogger I know who was in his Columbia law class. Maybe.
      Nobody remembers seeing him there.

    6. Ed, I've never seen anyone testify to seeing this POS at harvard or columbia. Not a one. Not a single one.

    7. Kid, why would his name be on the law review if he wasn't there?

    9. So is this how it worked, kid.

Thirty years ago Soros decided he'd groom the next president and bribed Harvard to pretend Obama was law review editor?

      Seems far fetched.

  5. The ENEMEDIA –– I refuse to call it anything else –– may very well be the GREATEST ENEMY we face. If you wonder why I say that, I think you need to "wise up" –– FAST –– before it's too late.

Most people get their opinions FROM the ENEMEDIA. They don't bother to listen, observe, and think things through for themselves.

Therefore, it's extremely important to DOCUMENT and make as much NOISE possible illustrating and complaining about the TREACHEROUS CONDUCT of the ENEMEDIA.

Our schools and colleges are working in tandem WITH the ENEMEDIA, of course, so we are literally SURROUNDED and SATURATED with Subversive Demoralizing LEFTIST POOPAGANDA.

That seems so "normal" now to most people, they probably think it's "crazy" to sound the alarm about the EVIL perpetrated by these FOUNTAINS of FILTH.

Very tough battles lie ahead, but hasn't that always been the case in EVERY era?

    1. FT, I'd say the greatest enemy is the public education system. As Trump said, it is the civil rights issue of our time and has been for a while. Hopefully DeVos will create so many damn charter schools that teach properly, the public will largely just fade away along with the majority of the teachers union. I'd love it if we just deleted the Dept of Ed right now, since none of the money actually goes to 'education'.

    2. Nailed it. You can always tell what really scares them based on how they react to certain 'stimuli', like Devos and Bill 610. And as far as the media, I always feel like I'm listening to Tokyo Rose over my AM transistor radio. Having worked for, and taking numerous meetings with the Conde Nasty owners from NY, I am convinced it is due to the inbreeding.

      Delete
    3. DaBlade, Thank you. "how they react to certain stimuli" Exacterly. So EASY isn't it once you have the equations?

You have something there of course with the nasty. I might be tempted to phrase it as "some people are simply Evil right out of the box".

  6. FT, Once the majority are trained for critical thought and why it is good to be patriotic, the evil voices simply won't be heard anymore. That's the way to get rid of them.

    1. I would agree, Kid, but how could that happen when the Educational Establishment is firmly planted in the "Kommie Kamp?" I mean they are in the BUSINESS of promoting Misinformation, Disinformation Lies, Deceit, Depravity, Insanity –– in there words nothing but LEFTIST POOPAGANDA. That's who they ARE and that's what what they DO. So how could we expect "them" to do an about face, and suddenly start denying and betraying all the Marxian cant and rhetoric on which "they" have based their careers?

      Delete
    2. FT, Agree. "THEY" will never change. The only solution is to elevate the public above their level so the public looks at them, laughs, doesn't vote for them and moves on.

  8. My wife insists on watching the ABC Evening 'News' with David Muir. I end up yelling at David every other sentence he spews, the damn commie pinko liberal hack. At least I know what the evil opposition is up to. That, and I catch up on all of my latest and freshest socialism.

I have been yelling at the evening ABC news anchors on my TV screen for a really long time. Before David Muir, I would yell at Diane Sawyer, and before her it was Charles Gibson, and before Red Charlie it was Peter Jennings, and before Red Peter is was Frank Reynolds. Commie pinkos all.

    1. Peter Jennings, whom I privately referred to for years as Penis Jerkings, was particularly insufferable. He and Dan Rather, whom I called Damn Blather, ran neck-and-neck for what-seemed-like decades in the race to be named The Most Obnoxious News Anchor in the World.

I caught on to them all the way back in the mid SICK-sties. I ever did realize that nice "Uncle Walter" Cronkite was also a subversive creep until after he was replaced by Rather at CBS.

Never heard of MUIR. I have not listened to ABC, NBC, CBS in so long I can't remember when the last time was. My FATHER called the New York Times "That Shitty Communist Rag!" all the way back in the mid-nineteen-forties, But back then we still had alternatives. Father approved of The New York Herald Tribune, The World Telegram and Sun and, of course, the Wall Street Journal. My mother liked the Sunday Edition of the NYT, but Father wouldn't have it in the house.

This crap has been poisoning our minds since the Nineteen-TWENTIES!

    2. Fredd, Mrs Kid also like david muir. I tell her I have no beef with muir, but I have a beef with "news" outlets that don't inform anyone about jack. They don't as my post is focused on. I just watched it all tonight and there was NO News in their program. 15 minutes or more on Canceled Flights due to snow storms in the NE. Hey, If people are so stupid they can't get a grip on the idea their flight might be canceled without david muir telling them then they probably don't watch the news anyway, and bottom lining it - them let.them.die. Or sit in a terminal for 78 hours.

  9. There needs to be a nationally mandated HS course on media, or perhaps as part of the civics course. In that course, real new vs fake news would be covered from both sides of the political spectrum, along with "spin" and "clickbait". Advertising methods would also be covered and the mechanics covered from a non partisan POV. If such a thing was done, it would be a huge upgrade in our present state of "democracy".

  10. I'm glad to see our household isn't the only one that argues over what "news" we watch in the morning. I used to watch a combination of FOX, Imus and Morning Joe, but gave them up for HLN. Nowadays I watch Robin Meade on HLN and my husband complains that it's a sister network of CNN and that makes them toxic as well. I don't agree because I decide what I hear is toxic or not and hearing an opposing position doesn't sway me unless such position has merits. I watch the HLN news while I drink my morning coffee and then I hit the internet. That's when I make up my mind about an issue.

    1. cube, Whatever entertains you. I have yet to see a single mention of the destruction of the EU by the moslem savages that everyone seems to want here. I would consider that valuable news.

  11. Whatever news show I watch in the morning means nothing to the world. I think that the destrtuction of the EU is something that the EU needs to address. If you ask me, they need a President Trump, but they'll never agree to that because they'd rather sacrifice a generation of young women to a horde of barbarians than believe conservatives from America are right.

    1. Cube, my thought here was that if the "migrants" were characterized based on the reality that they are destroying countries and cultures and the lives of good people in these EU countries, maybe we would not have so many dust bunnies for brains idiots thinking that these people are nice, charity deserving people who just happen to subscribe to a different culture. They don't assimilate, they demand. They are a street gang with every intention to wipe any culture they find in their current location.

There's a youtube that shows the no go zones in Sweden and all the moslems saying Swedes must adapt to their culture not the other way around, while the Swedish government is paying them welfare to do it. Unreal. Ditto Every other EU country.

    2. Cube - PS, Lets see if they elect Geert Wilders in the Netherlands. That will tell you how much the population hate the migrants. British Exit was All about stopping migrant flow and expelling the ones who are already there.
Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary absolutely refuse to take any of them.

Geert Wilders is running on a platform of closing all the mosques in the Netherlands and kicking out the muslims. That is the only way a country will survive the infection.

    2. Not understanding the Dutch governing party system setup....they have too many IMO to understand just who is who....I do know that Wilders picked up enough seats and a very big jump in votes to continue turning that country rightward and being a pain in the ass to their wishy washy snowflakes who are terrified of insulting Iz-slime. And right now he's more or less like our Demrats are to us but in a positive role...a barrier and a force to prevent them from folding completely to their militant, iz-slimest scourge.

    3. IMP, Like you I don't have a handle on the nuances of the Dutch political workings, yet, I'm thinking Wilders is making progress - a good thing.
