  1. Hey Kid - are you kidding me? This is something out of a James Bond movie. It was mesmerizing to watch but I could never jump off the face of a mountain ... even with a parachute on my back. WOW

  2. DeanO, Yes, I would Love to do this. Seriously.

Don't know if you were around when I published my autobiography of sorts, but we were hopping freight trains and jumping from car to car when I was 8 and older..

  5. No way, Jose. We regular army grunts used to say about airborne and air assault folks:

'Other than rain, there's only two things that fall out of the sky: bird shit and fools.'

  8. Opus, they do but the only lawyers in the rodent family are Rats, and you know how squirrels feel about rats....

Anwyay, as he was flying by those mountains, I kept thinking about the amount of energy it takes to elevate those mountains 20,000 feet in the air. Plate tectonics and all but still. Yea, we can control the Earth..

  10. You are one brave guy, Kid. Those vids are cool to watch but there's no way on earth I'd want to try that. I'm a scardy cat ;-)

  11. Carol-CS, you have to jump off the perfectly good ledge of a mountain, maybe 20,000 feet up. :)

  12. Bunni, Well, I haven't done it yet and it's unlikely that I ever will.
First you have to get to a good base jumping point like in Switzerland.
Takes a lot of money and practice too.

And I still have to work for a living!

  13. Way too fast for me. If it is faster than a wheelchair then it's too fast for me anymore.

It is truly amazing to watch.

  14. A little too rich for my blood, that's for sure. I get nose bleeds stepping off the curb. No matter how you cut it - that ain't a flying suit; it's a falling suit. Bird shit and fools?
