John Boehner - Equal Time Baby - Fair and Balanced

.
.
An exasperated President Obama virtually declared war on House Republicans in an angry and hastily called press conference Friday night, excoriating them for walking away from a deal to cut the deficit and raise the debt ceiling, saying the Republicans can't say "yes" to anything.

Shortly after, House Speaker John Boehner called his own press conference to say that negotiating with the White House was like "dealing with Jell-O," and suggesting he intends essentially to cut the president out of negotiations going forward.

-From the Christian Science Monitor.

Hey, let's see what the end result is, but that seems pretty ballsy on the surface.

  3. Hey Kid, something has to give and unfortunate, but it's hard working, honest tax paying American citizens who are "again" going to pay for the follies of Washington. You know and I know how to balance a check book and how to tighten the household belt when finances are short. Washington? Nope, spend what you don't have, borrow more money, up your debt ceiling, pass the buck and blame the rich...just a few thoughts. All I can say is thank you Lord for the rich...they employ me!

  4. DeanO, Yes Sir. If you're a non-union tax paying productive member of society, you are at the Bottom of the Food Chain in this regard.

And the rich don't pay taxes anyway, it's just a cost component of their business so they add it into the price over time. Yea, never got hired by a poor man.

All big business is multi-national today and they all have money stashed out of country. They've said so. They said if they'd get a tax break, they'd bring it back.

I can imagine what the average idiot thinks about "taxing the rich".

  7. Carol-CS, Well I hope it wasn't scripted. It's about time oblabber finds out he's not a one man government.
