I Hate to be Negative. I'm a Positive Person. But...

.
.

Have you seen the story today about how the TSA (Those Standing Around) are worried about Implant bombs?

Actually, it's a valid concern...

I can see some islamic/robotic female with breast/butt bombs.  But..

Is that any reason to torture Americans beyond cruel and inhumane?  Let's just ALL stop flying.  What is it going to take to get people's attention!  I can only imagine what random totally Non-islamic looking women are going to have to endure to freaking fly somewhere now.  Like the woman who was given a pair of Pliers and told she'd have to yank out her nipple rings in order to fly. WTF? Take over an aircraft with nipple rings ??

And at the same time we're worried about the pain caused by sticking a needle into the arm of some man who just raped, tortured, and killed someone's beautiful 12 yr old daughter - some beautiful 12 year old girl???  I'd throw some profanity in here but it wouldn't even come close so why bother.

The descent into pukeland continues unabated.  I"m starting to wonder how far people can be pushed before they push back.  I don't think we're anywhere near the limit.

Where is OUR GOVERNMENT On this issue?   The people who ARE TASKED with Guarding OUR INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS.  Nowhere to be found.  They're working their dog and pony show over the "debt crisis". But that's another story.

Or is it me?

  1. Since Obama seems to have as a default setting, "do anything that causes harm and consternation to Americans" I imagine he will be happy to step up security to involve internal searches for Americans. That will show us!

  2. We're living in unusual times indeed. The unthinkable has become commonplace, and I'm still not sure how so many people got duped into voting for that guy to begin with. God help us all.

  4. It's not just you.

Washington is a rapidly spreading cancer with no cure.

  5. One can't be help but feel negative with all the news of the daily assaults on our freedoms.

I'm sure obummer will say he created some jobs by hiring gyne's and protologists to work for the tsa too.

Awful times, and getting worse, Kid....which is why I just stick w/ cute kittens.

  6. Opus, I absolutely believe that. This all goes way beyond stupidity.

  7. AMW, I'll sum it up like this. Jon Stewart while talking to Chris Wallace actually said he thought obama was going to clean up DC.

And he's got some grey hair.

Unbelievable. I pegged obama right out of the gate, and believe me - I'm no genius.

  8. Arby, It sure does. When the country is falling apart and no one is working the problems, I guess it goes exponential.

  11. Perhaps after the backlash election in 2012, this irksome issue will be one of the shirt tail solutions that will also be dealt with by the grown ups that move back into the White House and Senate. Besides tossing out socialism, they may also just ask Benjamin Netanyahu exactly how to implement 'profiling', and subsequently stop patting down 90 year old Nana from Appleton, WI who wants to go visit the grand kids in Chula Vista, CA. You know, actually check out people who are committing misdemeanors by 'flying while Arab/Muslim.'

  12. Every day we hear another story that makes us think that things are spiraling out of control. And thanks to Obama, they are.
I sure hope Fredd is right and that the grown ups move back into the WH. We can not survive additional 4 years of Obama policies.

  13. Fredd, Sounds Delish. And yes, grownups back in the White House (and Congress) is a perfect description.

  14. TCL, I suspect we have no idea the extent of the damage being done.

    And I agree of course.

  15. I'm surprised people are not pushing back either. Honestly, I plan on becoming more radical when I'm out in a few months.

  16. Trestin,
I hope it doesn't come to that. I think having grown ups in charge again will go a long way. Then again, it was GW Bush who gave us the TSA.

Guess we need some lawsuits. It is unconstitutional after all.

  17. I wonder what would happen if airline security was turned over to the individual airlines, with the airlines and their insurance companies 100% responsible for any acts of terrorism that occur on their planes. The feds would be responsible only for sharing current information regarding terrorist threats. I cannot help but believe that security would become faster, more efficient, and more thorough. Losing a few thousand TSA agents would be a bonus for the federal budget, too.

  18. Arby, I'm all over that. And no restrictions on 'racial profiling'

We know who is trying to kill us, let's not pretend it is naked Aardvarks from Sweden.
