  1. GOOD ONE! And yet, because the ocean's "rising SOOO MUCH!", we're destroying our country to stop it. (That makes sense :-( )

    1. Z, when you think about the people who believe all this BS, while all ya gotta do is look..

    2. SO many believe this...Time and time again, terrifying predictions of Gore and Kerry and others haven't panned out. And NOBODY on the side of disaster will even LISTEN to sanity because they can't be considered a climate denier...........what hope IS there? All we have to do to know Biden's trying to destroy us is remember that we've never heard any demands of China and India about THEIR running their country in cleaner ways thereby destroying THEIR economies like WE are on the altar of man made climate chain!

    3. Exactly right Z. I don' t think think there is any hope as more and more people grow up without the benefit of critical thinking training or reinforcement.

You have powerful people in media, politics, science, other countries, etc who get rich off of these scams and one thing at the center of it I think is that people's basic nature is such that they so easily believe that mankind is destroying the planet. I've met bunches of them and there is no changing them. As Carlin points out, they're so self-important, so conceited that they think they have massive effects on the planet.

As you point out, all it takes is just a little thought to get the neurons firing too, like Hey, wait a minute, China and India are massive polluters and no one even brings them up in conversation, least of all the media and country 'leaders'.

And they've been pulling thee scams for decades. Ice age, out of oil by 2000, DDT, Ozone. It's as endless as mankind's ability for ignorance.

  2. Especially when our esteemed leaders and elites buy ocean front property, ya gotta ask yourself, do they know something I don't myself and why? Like your reply to Z, "while all ya gotta do is look." That would take even rudimentary critical thinking skills...

  3. I like to check in with the Weather Channel once a day. Clicking over helps me stay in touch with the latest bullshit about the sky-is-falling-end-of-the-world-junk-science. According to their schtick, Pacific Islands are disappearing below the sea's surface. Sure, they are. Four uninhabited islands in the Solomon chain consisting of less than 10 acres of sand (no trees or vegetation) have slipped beneath the surly Pacific waves. The question is, why?

I answer. NOT because the ice caps are melting. If that were true, the problem would impact more than four small Pacific islands — which, having been affected by .4mm of the rising tide, were not much exposed in the first place. My theory is that the islands appeared in the first place because wave action moved sand from the ocean floor up upon coral reefs, which over time, poked above the Pacific waves. And, the same phenomena that created those islands have now taken them back — a natural occurrence, not a manufactured one. Note: if an island breaks the ocean surface because wave action redistributes sand from the ocean floor, then we should probably conclude that the island is not stable, sand layered upon coral reefs, and we should probably not move there. If we do move there, we are idiots and should expect the shit to hit the fan in the middle of the night or the next time Japan has a tsunami.

P.S. Is the ice cap at Antarctica melting? Yes. Ice melting is what happens whenever a volcano erupts below the ice cap. Humankind didn’t cause the volcano, and as it happens, we do not yet have the technology to make a cork big enough to plug the damn hole. Despite that major event, the oceans are increasing in terms of millimeters, or if you prefer, fractions of an inch. Now here’s the big question: who gives a shit if NYC disappears below the Atlantic? Or Boston? Or Washington D.C., or any other major U.S. city overpopulated with heathen Democrats? In fact, if there were anything I could do to speed the process along, I’d do it. Plus ... what kind of dumbass builds a skyscraper on a sandy beach subject to ocean currents, tsunamis, and hurricanes?

    1. I don't watch much weather channel, but Mad has it on occasionally and they never miss an opportunity to point out 'never before' weather and climate change.

I swear the more absurd and without merit the bullshit story, the more the idiots lap it up.
