This Is Socialism and It Is Why It Doesn't Work In One Simple Construct

It's Simple.  Rich people are not going to foot the bill for a nation of lazy losers.

Tax the Rich, make your life suck even more.

More than 4,000 households left France in 2014 (it’s the most recent year with available statistics), according to Les Echos newspaper which has obtained the report.
For those earning over €100,000 the trend has continued since 2007.
In 2014, about 589 people earning over €300,000 a year left the country. The figure was down from 659 the year before.
For those earning €700,000 or more per year, 127 people said ‘au revoir’ to France in 2014, down from 179 people a year earlier.
Experts cite France’s relatively high tax rate as one of the main reasons for the outflow of millionaires. Taxes were significantly increased in 2012 with a 'supertax' of 75 percent on the rich which was meant to force the wealthy help the country out of the economic crisis. The unpopular measure was introduced by France’s President Francois Hollande, but two years later the supertax was adjusted to a 50 percent rate due to accusations of it being anti-business.

  1. I want to know where all of these rich French guys went. Wherever they go, they will be targeted. It's how people are, Kid. Like when Willie Sutton asked why he robbed banks, he answered 'because that's where the money is.'

There's always going to be more poor guys than rich guys in any society. If the poor guys get a vote, it's a lead pipe cinch, a guarantee in blood that the poor guy will get together with a bunch of other poor guys and they will cobble together some kind of populist measure that votes to take the rich guy's stuff and give it to the poor guys.

    1. Normally, I would agree, Fredd, which is why our brilliant, infinitely wise Founders deliberately avoided establishing a DEMOCRACY.

However, look what just happened on November 8. Donald Trump CIRCUMVENTED the ENEMEDIA and went DIRECTLY to the people, themselves, in a YUUUUUUGE series of rallies in stadiums all over the country where he made personal appearances. By all reports these were Standing Room Only events ith many thousands unable to get in at all.

In addition to the rallies he made thousands of "Tweets" which AGAIN enabled him to make an end run around the enemedia and get his message out DIRECTLY to the people. His tactics were brilliant and they WORKED

One quick glance at the electoral Map shows the entire country covered 90% in RED, with only a few slivers and small spots of BLUE here and there.

I think it may mean that once FREE of the perverted, demented influence of the enemedia, The People probably ARE wise enough to make important decisions for themselves.

The D'Rat-Media-Educrat Alliance has been POISONING our CONSCIOUSNESS for decades. Maybe their death grip on power has been loosened at last, and we may now have a real chance to recover from the Cultural Marxist (Socialst-Collectivist) propaganda that's been pushing us down for many decades.

Meanwhile, it's time to start draining the swamp of ACADEMIA, which has functioned as the primary source of ruinous Leftist Propaganda for about sixty years.

    2. Fredd, Damn interesting question. There was a rich wall street/investor guy years ago that would move between the US and Japan depending on economic conditions, taxes, et al. I can't think of too many places a rich French person would go. Here in the US? The Beatles came here to avoid the 95% tax rate at the time. Maybe Quebec? The EU countries don't seem to hold any appeal.

Anyway Fredd, when I was 15 and working at McDonald's and no credit card processing That was where the cash was at the end of the day. Very easy to hit too. Once again proving how stupid criminals are. Go to the place most defended.

    1. It does suck, indeed. I wonder what that Cleveland Obamaphone lady is going to do, now that her Obamaphone service is likely to disappear. Or those stupid dopes in Detroit, waiting in line for a piece of 'Obama's stash' will go, now that his stash is no longer available....oh well. I won't lose any sleep wondering for all that much longer. Just curious.

    1. Cube, I can't wait until someone pushes he handle down on one barry soetoro. Wssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh..

Turn on the exhaust fan for a while too.

Now we have Trump - to be or not to be? I'm betting on To Be. You know I find some of his antics adolescent to cartoonish, but you know what else - I think that might just be the pop culture today. He may have his finger on the 'pulse' of this country. Not necessarily the old folks that pushed him over the top, but we will be quite happy on the results and not give a crap about the how. I sure won't. So, this bitter twitter stuff don't actually matter.

    1. "Conservative"in Europe = "Left-Leaning Moderate" in the USA.

Europe is a Lost Cause. They're done and they might as well be dead.

    2. Z, I guess even morons can figure out when they've had enough. British Exit totally motivated by moslem vermin migrant quotas imposed by EU. The EU is going to come apart like nothing has come apart before.

FT, Marine Le Pen is pretty radical Conservative it seems. But generally I agree with you. Like a 'republican' in California.

    3. Or a "Republican" in New England! ]:^)>

I'll never forget that namby pamby Christopher Shays or Lowell Weicker from CT, and "Jumpin' Jim Jeffords" from VT, or Mitt Romney from MA, or –– well you know what I mean, I'm sure.

RINO's are even worse than D'RATS.

    5. No, France is not a lost cause. gad.
And no, I wasn't talking about Le Pen, Kid....there's another male conservative doing very well. Fingers crossed, because the French have no more affection than they do for their culture...this 'being nice' is starting to look as stupid as it really is.

    6. Z You may now more than I do about what's going on over there, but dang it sure looks to me like suicide in slow motion all over Europe. Yes, I noticed some guy named Fillon? doing well in the polls.

Regardless, in my opinion, if islam isn't rejected in total in all these countries including the USA, it will win out eventually.

    7. La France has changed a great deal for the worse since you were living on Paris, Z. So has ALL of Europe. And WE are not far behind. I shall be EIGHTY in four years, God willing, so it matters very little to me at this point. However, I feel desperately sorry for those young enough to be our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Too few of "us," myself included, did our duty to help propagate the race by having children of our own and taking the great pains needed to raise them properly according the principles we like to think we believe.

I feel both guilty –– and frankly relieved –– to have dodged that particular bullet. Raising children is probably the most challenging, least remunerative –– and most thankless –– task imaginable. If God hadn't made sex such a compelling drive and highly pleasurable activity, the human race would surely have died out aeons ago. ;-)

  7. I suppose there are two kinds of people----Makers and Takers, It is only natural that the former would flee from the latter. Hate to over-simify, but as O'reilly might say, "I'm a simple man. But then, I suppose it really just comes down to your point of view. Actually, both think they are the victim of the other.
