    1. AOW - All who know of him would agree. And Chet wasn't "just" a guitar player.

      Next time you're bored.

    2. If you click that link, you may need to click to restart it at the beginning.

    3. PPS - There are some notable people in that vid testifying about Chet, but make no mistake - Every kid who picked up a guitar between 1950 and 1970 for sure knew and admired Chet and wished they could play like him.

  2. I needed that after LSU's performance in Wisconsin Saturday. My dad use to take me to LSU games when I was just a little boy. Tiger Rag was always played. Did my graduate work there after finishing at Southern MS. Geaux Tigers!

  3. Almost as talented as Tiny Tim.

    1. Geezix Fredd, you can't put anyone up against Tiny Tim...

    2. Yeah, even Elvis looks mediocre compared to the Greatness of Tiny Tim. The guy could really make that ukelele wail....

  4. Chet Atkins was the real deal all right. Would there be a Tommy Emmanuel today, if there had never been a Chet Atkins?

Probably, but Tommy wouldn't be the same.
