Saturday Tune CCR

I cannot think of a single Creedence tune I don't like.  I find that absolutely amazing.  Seriously.  No other band falls into that category.

Here's a good one.

  1. DeanO, I was watching TV, some channel, a few years ago, and John Fogerty (CCR Vocals and Guitar) was on a stage and people were calling in, telling stories about how 'they remembered' various CCR tunes, and John was taking them as requests and playing them by himself. You could hardly tell anything was missing.

    Incredible. Truly incredible.

  2. CCR was the best. Funny that yesterday I posted a video on fb of The Thunderbirds flying by my house with the title, Doo Doo Doo, lookin out my front door (since they were in the front).

    1. Hey Rita, Timing is everything.

I love watching those guys. If you do, and didn't know about it go here to ride along with the Blue Angels.

Note the buttons below the video player to go full screen and such. It sticks on 2 of the vids, just go back to non-full screen and click the next vid in the list. I start with the jets at Number 7.

  3. They didn't have ONE bad song....and they were FAR better musicians than they get credit for. I just knew it was that song you'd posted the minute I read your opening remarks! The harmonies in that are SO GOOD. Thanks...I LOVE CCR......doo doo doo...........how weird Rit'd done that just the other day!!

    1. Z, the Conservative world must be in some sort of Harmonious Balance !

Yes they were Z. It's a perfect song for the summertime too imo.

Glad you all enjoyed. We need to do more of that :)

  4. CCR was my brother-in-law's favorite group "back in the day". That song makes me feel 12 again.

    1. Rita, I was 15 the first time I heard them. Sitting in Pappy's Bar in East Palestine Ohio, drinking bear on a fake draft card and Green River on the box.

  5. I recall the days of the 8-tracks and CC Revival! Great times and great memories now.
