  4. TALKING ABOUT "MORONS", John Fetterman comes to mind.!

I find it to be remarkably shocking that the people of Pennsylvania, as well as the Philadelphia Inquirer, a well respected newspaper of record located in the literal birthplace of the U.S. Constitution would turn their back on a self-made WELL RESPECTED man, Doctor Mehmet Öz, a well-respected cardiothoracic surgeon the State and would rather promote a progressive communist democrat candidate who is physically and mentally unfit to be a representative of Philadelphians in the Senate of the United States. John Fetterman has fully embraced this Progressive Democrat agenda .

Uncle Festerman is a DANGEROUS FAR LEFT CRACKPOT. Dr Oz is an Honorable Man

  5. Following comment from BAYSIDER:
The first one with the palm frond "hits" home. I have that kind of palm tree in front of my house, and in a windstorm the fronds get driven down. They set off car alarms (as can individual dates that drop), but I NEVER thought they could break the windshield!

2 more to add think you'll like.
    1) My Lexus just seized up on the freeway and had to be towed with the truck that puts on the little wheels with slings cuz no way would tire or axle turn. It was far enough away from home that we were towed to the Newport Beach dealer. Mr. B had taken note of what he thought was a trend to sloppy work on our dealer's once stellar service. He had had some re-do's. I had just had my car serviced, fluids et al. He asked the Newport Beach dealer to do a forensic exam of the car. The repair bill was about $7,000, but they noticed the plug in the transfer case had not been properly re-seated and it gradually leaked fluid. So it burned up the transfer mechanism and a couple of other things. The 2 dealers dickered back and forth and in the end we paid an $800 labor charge to the NB dealer, and our local dealer reimbursed him for the rest. What's especially cringeworthy on this story is the day before I was deep in outback mountains in 113 degree heat. Sept. 15 of this year was a very sad day for me because the fabulous and honest service garage I switched to closed because they lost their lease. (:

    2) Is even better. A woman was referred to a rocket engineer friend of mine who was a car mechanical whiz. She had a Jag and suspected her garage was unscrupulous, creating more problems when they worked on it so she'd have to come back. 1960's, long before the internet. She told him they thought she now needed to replace her water pump although she had no symptoms. He could find nothing wrong with it, so he put his own mechanic's stamp on the part, then greased it over and she went back to the garage. Sure enough, they "replaced" it. Gave her the "old part" back and a big bill. She returned to my friend, and there was the pump, working fine, with his mechanic's stamp still on it.

    1. Baysider. You can subscribe to that youtube channel for some occasional laughs and scares (these people on the road)

Glad the Lexus situation worked out well for you.

Competence in car repair is getting more scarce. Especially now with car dealers tying to keep $ rolling in, many have got a bit shady.

I know it used to be if you got ripped off like your friend with the Jag, you could have the state police look into them, Not sure that still is the case.

My lunch pals had a Lexus RX350. 150k miles, Lots of problems. 3 water pumps,Couple months ago they said 'something blew' in the engine area. Lines or something not the engine itself. Paid them 600 and problem still there. They finally had to give in and buy a new car.
Repairs on Lexus also more expensive than say Toyota. Lexus is off my list. I've had good luck with Toyota.

  6. We have OLDER Lexi. I'm extremely pleased with my car. Much less happy with what I hear of some newer ones. I found that channel and watched a few others. Very clever idea. If I read his postings right (on Facebook maybe) he started up in May 2020. Not hard to figure that one out! Found a way to monetize his "time off." A charming break from animal rescue videos. :)

    1. Agreed Baysider. I watch a couple every few days to break things up also. Unreal what kind of condition some of these cars are in, talking about the interiors also.
