Here is the Cuteness You Ordered

Hat Tip - Mister Lone Star Parson

Juliette and Mia.  Juliette is 17 I believe, and Mia is younger.

There are folks out there doing music reviews, but I sure like these two.  For as young as they are it is entertaining and heartwarming that they are getting into this music from mostly the 70's onward.

They get into to it and pick up on the lyrics, the nuances of the compositions and Mia especially seems to hear and get into every part of the music as they listen to these tunes for the first time.

They usually have a great set in the background and wear t-shirts for the artists when they have them.  Their dad and relatives got them interested.

Enjoy them rocking out to ZZ Top and Sharp Dressed Man.

  1. I LOVE ZZ TOP and I ADORE "SHARP DRESSED MAN" so I loved listening to this...I mean HOW can you hear that and not get your head bobbin'? (can't say BOBBING, too square!!)
And the girls are so charming and it's fun to see them get into 'old' music, as you say!!
ZZ TOP always reminds me of my friend Melinda and me...we used to play pool at a pool hall not far away...ZZ TOP really loud, moving to the music around the pool table, SUch fun!
Thanks....I hope these girls catch on, I hope they stay so young and sweet and that they get REALLY big in the world of Music Reviews! XXX

    1. Glad you enjoyed Z. Yea, I did too obviously. It is fun to watch them discovering and enjoying this stuff. Some music you just gotta move to. If you're into that kind of thing. :)

    3. There was some real junk rock in those days but there was also some awfully good music. They're getting to it mostly from dad, relatives, people recommending in the comments.

  2. Interesting.
And I say that the reason I feel so young, is because the radio and movie soundtracks are continually playing the music of my youth.

    1. I'd say their music options are limited Ed. The pop stuff today sure sucks.

    1. Nice young ladies AOW. Making money too. I sure wish I'd have had those opportunities (youtube, etc) when I was a kid.

  4. ZZ Top.. can't get much better. Back in the '70s a little burb outside Allentown PA, had a very small venue for a small crowd that many of the big timers would pass through to try out their new stuff before taking it out to their big gigs.. ZZ was one of them..I remember well, the good old days! Wish these kids lot of luck.

    1. Yea, that little band from Texas Bunk. ZZ had a tune that I would actually dance to (if I had some alcohol in me), which is a rare thing - not the alcohol in those days but the dancing.
