    1. Mr Drake, imagine living next to that thing. That would make global warming, a scam, but anyway a non-event.

    That reminds me of someone, in Chicago.

    2. LSP, Watched a segment today (youtube) where Charles Barkley on some NBA halftime thing suggested Jussie could have saved 3500 if he just went to Liam Neesen's neighborhood. Funny.

  4. I imagine the two distinct lobes of the Homunculus Nebula that surrounds the hot central region are pummeling it while yelling, "this is MAGA country." I just hope the Doomed Star Eta Carinae doesn't drop its tuna fish sandwich in the altercation.

    3. The bells rang wildly in the town
      To greet The Man of high renown
      As Trump canme striding in.
      The pealing clanging, booming sound
      Filled the air with fearful din

      And then the president arrived and strode into the room
      The clanking from his dangliing balls resounded through the halls
      Sonorous and strong enough to drown the dreaded Crack of Doom.

      Before the brazen bonging's end had finally came to pass
      Trump had torched the premises with lightning from his ass!

  8. THIS MAY SEEM IRREEVANT, BUT THAT IMAGE REMINDED ME OF THIS POEM WRITTEN IN THE MID-1800's BY A REMARKABL WOMAN WHOSE INNER EYE UNDERSTOOD THE COSMOS BETTER THAN MANY ATTER-DAY SCENTS DO.

    ___ OLD MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN ___

    Gigantic sire, unfallen still thy crest!
    Primeval dweller where the wild winds rest,
    Beyond the ken of mortal e'er to tell
    What power sustains thee in thy rock-bound cell.

    Or if, when first creation vast began,
    And far the universal fiat ran,
    "Let there be light"—from chaos dark set free,
    Ye rose, a monument of Deity,

    Proud from yon cloud-crowned height to look henceforth
    On insignificance that peoples earth,
    Recalling oft the bitter draft which turns
    The mind to meditate on what it learns.

    Stern, passionless, no soul those looks betray;
    Though kindred rocks, to sport at mortal clay—
    Much as the chisel of the sculptor's art
    "Plays round the head, but comes not to the heart."

    Ah, who can fathom thee! Ambitious man,
    Like a trained falcon in the Gallic van,
    Guided and led, can never reach to thee
    With all the strength of weakness — vanity!

    Great as thou art, and paralleled by none,
    Admired by all, still art thou drear and lone!
    The moon looks down upon thine exiled height;
    The stars, so cold, so glitteringly bright,

    On wings of morning gladly flit away,
    Yield to the sun's more genial, mighty ray;
    The white waves kiss the murmuring rill—
    But thy deep silence is unbroken still.

    ~ Mary Baker Eddy (1821-1910)

  9. Any thoughts on the Oscars that's on TV tonight.
    I know that I won't be watching that Crapola. I can remember when the Academy Awards was a classy event and the award winners congratulated each other and were thankful for the audience and for the most part knew their success was due to the people that paid hard earned money to watch their performances. Now they act like they are doing us a favor. I have no interest in watching any of these phony awards debacles.

    2. Me either. The Oscars died for me right after Audrey Hepburn departed this life

      She was the LAST of Hollywood's Great Ladies.

      Just a bunch of leftist bums and cheap grifting sluts there today today!

    3. Franco, Back in the 50's and 60's Hollywood was chock full of former military men. Now I view the general population as 3 yr old spoiled ignorant brats who have not done a single thing for anyone but themself. There are some exceptions - a few who are vocal like Jon Voight, James Woods, Chris Pratt, and some unknown number who are closet Conservatives but the rest of them are about as boring and useless a people as I can imagine.
