A Complete List of Things Caused by Global Warming

Below is an image grab from the page you will go to by clicking on the image.

Each of the items listed is a link to the story about how that item was affected by global warming.

Note that some of the links lead to pages that are no longer available but many still lead to active pages.

Hilarious.

These idiots are certifiable.  They should be confined to a sanitarium and given fake steering wheels to play with.

  1. The important concern is climate change, something impacted over time since the dawn of the industrial revolution. To deny this given scientific data is bordering on the foolish, if not insane.

Climate change aside there are other legitimate reasons to reduce use of fossil fuels.

    1. Yeah, like reducing the surplus population.
      Get real.
Of course there is climate change, man has little influence.
      Except nuclear weapons en masse.
      That can change the climate.

    2. "Scientific data" is all lies. Get a grip. Man Made global warming believers are insane. Check out the Scientific Method and get back to us.

    3. Ed, I read a few days ago that the scientific brainiacs state that even if we enter another ice age, it does not disprove global warming. lol. These people need to be locked up in a sanatorium and given fake steering wheels to play with.

    4. You didn't get the memo. It's climate change, not global warming.
      Warm? Climate Change.
      Cold? Climate Change.
      Drought? Climate Change.
      Flood? Climate Change.
I worked with another controls engineer and he is true believer, in Obama and Climate Change.
Spent all his time working on a spreadsheet that he showed to anyone that "proved" Climate Change.
      Like he's a climatologist.
Accuhunch can't get the weekend right.

  2. Ice melting from the top of the Polar Ice is from the Sun--not much evidence.
In recent fact finding missions the ships had to be rescued from ice surrounding the ships.
Ice melting from the under side----from ocean floor Volcanoes---much evidence!
If one does some research (oh-my), the Temperatures were recorded Higher in the Late 1800's, more higher than today's record highs === not any Industries back then!
When people live through the Industrial Age it is easy to trick the masses to believe that every woes are to blame the Industrial AGE!
It's a shame that people living today are so gullible.

    1. TS/WS - It is a shame that critical thinking has gone the way of the dodo...

Yes, i recently read where Magma has relocated under Antarctica and is responsible for ice melt there. I also read where ice at Antarctica is at the highest recorded levels.

    2. TS/WS, PS when you can get people to fell guilty, it is much easier to scam them and take their money.

  4. My eyes are so far gone I couldn't really read all that fine print, but didn't they omit mention of the Eruption of Krakatoa - the San Francisco Earthquake and Fire -the Eruption of Mt. St. Helens - Hurricane Katrina - and the Solid Freeze of the Great Lakes and Niagara Falls in recent years? ];^}>

They couldn't very well blame the Eruption of Mt Vesuvius that destroyed the ancient Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, because the internal combustion engine had not yet been invented, but I'm sure they'd LIKE to if only they could fabricate a rationale.

  5. LMAO! Of course there are factors not in humankind's control relative to climate and the planet's eco system. But to deny the scientific data that clearly shows human activity has affected our climate is frankly foolish and short sighted.

Better to adopt the "it is what it is" and "what will be will be" attitude right? Wrong, but if that's your view you've long ago lost your grip.

    1. Your reversion to type is sad to witness, Les. Please try to listen to your hectoring, badgering, mocking, unduly confronational tone. That should help you reform, and been to mind your manners ince again.

    2. Again, the 'scientific data' is all bullshit.

    3. The scientific data is all BS?

That's pretty extreme and indicates on its face that you're not being objective about this, kid.
Just ignoring research and digging in unwilling to accept a need for change is a dangerous position.

Out of work 'climate scientists' drawing from a 2.4 billion pool of money play along
The former head of the IPCC said the GW scam has only economic goals, namely to destroy capitalism in a quick as 150 years
Non of the predictions have come true. This is why GW was renamed to climate change.
The is no credible defensible thing as 'Climate Science'. Too many variables.
The major polluters don't give a shit about it.
The Earth is a self correcting system.
The sun heats the Earth, Moisture in the atmosphere heats the Earth. CO2 has no role.

Seems very simple to me but believe what you want. Send developing countries your money but not mine.

    5. CO2 has no role? I thought the mechanism by which CO2 contributes to the greenhouse effect was well understood and not seriously contested. Do you mean that literally, or that CO2's contribution is overwhelmed by other atmospheric components, or something else?

      Delete
    6. Not with warming. Here is the story on CO2 - with reference

To clarify, I'm not here trying to convince anyone. Just like politics, people are lined up on both sides point blank. I'm not going to change anyone's mind, and no one is going to change mine. I've seen too many scams - especially environmental one - to give this one a penny's worth of credence, especially with what I know about this whole affair.

Bottom line though, if the Earth is getting warmer and it probably is since it has been since the ice age ended 15 to 18,000 years ago, we aren't going to do anything about it, especially when the major polluters could care less.
We'd best spend our time are resources preparing for it rather than fighting it.

    7. The *mechanism* is understood, ie the physical consequences of the gas' absorption and emission spectra are not in any doubt. While I can't vouch for the details (I only scanned the article you linked), I don't think any climatologist would disagree with the gist of it, eg. CO2 lagging behind temperature is well known. That's not the argument. I think the fundamental physics by itself demands some attention.

You can change my mind with a compelling argument or strong evidence -- I'd hate to be closed to that. But I don't see why we wouldn't do something about it, we've done it before. Reversing ozone depletion and fixing the millenium bug, for examples, were both hard-won successes. But I agree that preparation is an important part of any strategy, and I'm confident that much of the academic activity in the field is focussed adapting to change.

    8. My basic premise is that true climate science is non-existent. So, while I don't believe Man made GW can be proven it can neither be dis-proven. A beautiful scam.

I'm not going to try to change anyone's mind. It is up to the individual to determine whether it is a scam that is making lots of people lots of money and accomplishing other agenda's as well or whether it is an honest attempt to save some future generation from dealing with it. Put me in the former camp. I've seen too many environmental scams to believe any of them, and bottom line I believe the Earth to be a self-correcting system. If it is in "trouble", it doesn't need our help.

  6. Global Warming Midst the Deep Freeze

Ever since the proud Titanic sank
Mankind has with rising Panic drank.
He does this every day. Now he’s addicted.
’Tis pitiful to see him so afflicted,
‘Cause now a new “Titanic" must be sunk
To slake the fevered cravings of this drunk,
Each day to meet his growing need for Harm,
So he tells himself today the Globe's too warm!

  7. I'm a big defender of pure science and the scientific method. It hurts me to see it being politicized and prostituted for grant money. Climate has been changing since the Earth began and climatologists have to study these changes WITHOUT the politics.
