  1. Hey Kid - do you remember when the announcement came across the AM Radio - "This just in...I can't believe it but The Beatles have broken up" Funny - I barely knew who the Beatles were but that announcement caught my ear

  2. DeanO, I don't remember hearing it on the radio, but I just looked it up and their last album, Abbey Road was recorded 1969, and they were in the processes of calling it quits while making it as we found out later.

I thought it was a little later than that. I do remember all the 'Paul is dead' hype that went on for a long time. Clues in Revolution # 9 on the White Album and all sorts of other stuff.

  3. Oh ya - Paul is dead - what a record selling Bonanza that turned out to be - my hat is off to whichever record producer spawned that rumor - brillant

  6. I remember the portable record player in my neighbor's garage blasting 'I wanna hold your hand' and all the neighborhood 10-year old girls screaming like maniacs listening to it.

  7. I love this song, it's kind of sad, but also very good.

  8. I buried Paul a few months ago during his Bush-bashing.

  9. DeanO, Lennon was a very insecure guy. Modest.

  10. Fredd, that tune came across a little mint green transistor radio my folks got me, and it was the first time I was interested in 'music'. I was 11.

  11. Bunni, as Ringo said, they were all fantastic musicians and John and Paul were a hell of a couple song writers.

  12. Nickie, I hear ya there. Honestly, why do these entertainer types think they know so much, and why are they so stupid about things. Sean Penn being the poster but Paul not far behind with those comments he made.

How can anyone consider obama as anything more than a bad actor.

  13. The Sargent Peppers Band had all kinds of clues about Paul's death.
    Look at the cover's art.
