I don't know if you've heard, but social shopping site Blippy made a little slippy.

Blippy, a four-month-old startup funded partially by Twitter co-founder Evan Williams, lets you create a "social stream" of all your credit card purchases. You set up an account, punch in your credit card number, and then Blippy automatically posts all of your purchases (including their prices) to your profile.

It's basically a massive privacy invasion, only it's voluntary -- and, for whatever reason, people like it. Today, however, a few of Blippy's users realized the service was inadvertently sharing far more than they realized.

Let's also recognize that the air and water are at least a thousand times cleaner than when I was a kid, and this has not a damn thing to do with recycling, government regulation, hippies out collecting plastic bags and aluminum cans and cardboard. It is the result of a more responsible set of capitalist pigs, and the associated financial rewards that come with constantly improving your processes to eliminate waste and thereby it's associated pollution. For the most part.

I love to watch this video every Earth Day and laugh at the liberal children.

When we were young 20 somethings in the 70's, we saw politicians as "Plastic". Plastic was pop slang for Not Real. We wouldn't trust any of them as far as we could throw them.

Now, Riddle me this - What has happened that has caused America's young to embrace politicians to the point they trust them implicitly. ? They actually want them to take over every business from soup to nuts to HC to gasoline to home heating oil.
That they fail to even consider if there is something wrong with this thinking. ?
