ReplyDeleteBunk, Sorry, trying to get used to this new Sucky blogger. Here is the correct link.
Deletehttps://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap200624.html
Amazing picture, Kid. It almost looks as if you could walk across that cloud cover. A few years ago, this fellow went up to the edge of space in a balloon and made the highest ever free fall back to earth. I watched the video and it honestly made me nauseous. I'm not sure I could parachute from a Cessna much less a space balloon. So if I could walk across the cloud cover, I'm sure I'd be taking careful, fearful steps.
ReplyDeleteHeck of a picture to get from the window of a commercial airplane Mustang.
DeleteHere is the correct link - https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap200624.html
I did a lot of commercial flying in the 90's an never saw anything that interesting.
TS/WS - Sorry All ! Here is the correct link to what you should have got.
ReplyDeleteQuite the lucky shot from a commercial airplane ride window.
I see the plane,I think--above the city.
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the pattern in the yellow at bottom center.
TS/WS, that is the sun shining under the clouds and reflecting off the lake.
DeleteTESTING! Nothing I'vewriten since you went to moderation has posted, Kid.
ReplyDeleteAre you at east RECEIVING the comments I try to post?
If you wat me to leave, please just say so, and I'll go quietly, i promise.
But THIS doesn't feel good at all.
It's All Good Franco. Comments went to spam and I hadn't thought to check there.
DeleteKay. I see,
DeleteWell, the picture looks like a moldy ear of corn where are the kernels have been eaten, and nothing's left but rough, moldering COB.
A lot of WEIRD stuff out there!
I don't see a corn cob Franco, but OK.
DeleteThat new blogger does suck. I used it for a week a few weeks ago. I'm back to the old one now.
ReplyDeleteOdie, end of the month of course, the current one is gone. I don't plan on telling them about any bugs. I'll just use whatever works. I don't have particularly stiff requirements.
DeleteWOWZIR! I used the correct link and that is astonishing! CHICAGO!? I almost got nauseous just reading Mustang's comment, by the way!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing image eh Z?
DeleteYes, a guy by the name of Felix Baumgartner rode a weather balloon to the limits of the atmosphere then jumped, breaking the spee3d of sound before being slowed by heavier atmosphere then ultimately the parachute.
Here is a Video
The older guy is his Joe Kittinger who did it first.
