  4. Why work, Obama's stash will cover all of everyone's expenses. Mom and Dad will pick up the health insurance until age 26, Mom and Dad will also put us up in the room over the garage in perpetuity.

Need drugs and booze? No problemo, get signed up for SNAP, and sell the benefits for 50 cents on the dollar of food stamp value, and there you go: cash for drugs, booze and gambling

  5. Kid:

I have an answer to your question as to the clueless multitudes: As El Rushbo said shortly after the re-election of the Bamster, 'you can't beat Santa Claus.' Santa is doling out the big bucks to these dopes, and they don't care where it comes from, or believe that it will eventually run out.

And while I am quoting notable Americans, this is another from Ben Stein's ('Buehler?....Buehler?....Buehler?....) daddy, Herbert - 'if something can't go on, it won't.' Since the U.S. is so dang big with a gi-normous economy, and its tax revenues are still flowing in to the federal coffers to the tune of about 3 trillion a year, there's plenty of dough to service our debt.

And as long as we service our gi-normous debt, we can continue to run up our credit card every day, and the day that we eventually can no longer service our debt is maybe 50 years into the future, maybe more. But at some point, the day will come when we will fall short on our obligations, and then there will likely be blood in the streets.

But until that day comes, and NOT ONE DAY BEFORE, our gutless politicians will lead us down that road, because it has been proven election after election: people vote for Santa Claus.

And you can't beat Santa Claus.

    1. Fredd, I agree the Santa thing. But 50 years? Hmmm. I have to add though, that there are some STUPID kids out there, more every second. I mean stupid with a capital F. And dumber by the day. I see riots and pain and societal breakdown long before the 50 years is up. I predict a breaking point event. Mob rule. Death and destruction in the streets. When? Dunno. As long as 'they can obfuscate the real inflation, and continue printing money for the loser class, it could go a while.

We'll see baby. We'll see. No challenge to it, Just going to be damn interesting.

  6. My 50 year guess is just that, an educated guess. All we have to do is keep our debt serviced, that's all. And when we do that, we can continue our drunken sailor spending. The dummies out there (and yes, there's a butt load of them) don'[t believe it when conservatives or Tea Party types predict the end of days: it hasn't happened yet, doesn't look like it will happen tomorrow, and tomorrow is irrelevent with the dummies, since the dummie's kids are on their own, and the dummy parents don't care, the checks are still clearing the bank.

So our (conservatives) credibility suffers, since no apocalypse has befallen us like those wet blanket Tea Party dopes said it would unless we mended our evil spendthrift ways. We take in almost 3 trillion a year in taxes, spend 5 trillion a year, and the debt just piles up in the form of treasury bonds in the hands of the Chinese and Japanese.

You may be right about when mob rule, death and destruction, etc when our economy collapses, and that could happen sooner than 50 years if our creditors bring about this breaking point. But China gains nothing when they call in their chips, since the result would be that we collapse and their largest trading partner's population starts eating each other. Their T-bills overnight turn into mere bird cage lining, nothing more.

I say 50 years. But I have my .357 Magnum with lots and LOTS of ammo, when and if the shit hits the fan in my lifetime, I am going to take some of the mob with me.

    1. Fredd, May I also suggest a Weatherby SA-08 for the home.

I just put in a longer comment but apparently it was re-routed to the NSA.

    1. Carol-CS, I know the feeling. We are now Greece without the default, or at least the 'reported default.
