Adrienne, Probably so. Paul is a stone cold liberal. Don't really have a bead on the other two. Anyway, just seemed the lyrics resonated with today's current events nonsense.
Franco, I was 11 and got a transistor radio as a birthday present. The first music that interested me was coming at me on that radio was the Beatles I Want to Hold Your Hand.
I liked a lot of the Beatles stuff back in those days but frankly don't have any on my playlist. The last one that got deleted was Get Back.
i think most of us remain fond of the things that becme familiar to us in childhood, Kid.
We may grow beyond that whatever it was, but a kind of nostalgia remains.
I'm a goo deal o;der thanylu, so I was nuts about The Atechson Topeka and the Santa Fe, The Trolley Song, The Too Fat Polka, Bongo Bongo Bongo I Don't Want to Leave the Congo [Civilization? I'll Stay Rght Here)] Rum and Coca Cola, The Boogey Woogey Bugle Boy, Heartaches, The Rich Maharajah of Magador, Put Another Nickel In In the Nickelodeon, Tangerine, Come On A My House, and I Never See Maggie Alone, SPIKE JONES! and a whole lot more we used to hear on the radio and p\lay in the jukeboxes.
It was all pretty silly, but Man! –– it was FUN! That was all over by the time I was thirteen, however. Bach, Mozart and Beethoven had completely taken over by then, but I STILL love those crazy songs from my early childhood.

Seriously Bunk. With the amount of corruption in the Intel and DOJ, we know no indictments are coming for the treasonous criminal left operatives. add everything else in and this Ain't America anymore.
The Revolution will not be televised.
