  1. I was fortunate in the last 1950's to see the lights in upper Northeast PA... We looked out the window to see all Green, bright as can be. My parents guessed what it was right off, but I was beyond bounds in wonder. We drove up to the top of the mountain and were in for a show for a number of hours. Still as fresh in memory as if it was today.

P.S. As far as Chrome... I checked the Wordpress help suggestions when last week I could do nothing on Blogspots.
I deleted all of my cookies and history. Shut down my computer. Used a different browser -Safari- than I was using to get started. It fixed it. Then I used Chrome and no problem after that. Safari first in my case since I use a MAc Air.
    Good luck

    1. Thanks for the IT help Bunk ! It may come to that.

I've never seen the Aurora. Several people I know who spent time in Northern Michigan have.

  2. Kid, are you having commenting/blogging problems at other than MY blog?? Bunkerville's advice sounds good but complicated (for ME, anyway!)
That image is astonishing...I've heard of the Aurora Borealis but never anything like THIS GREEN! I'm hoping everyone clicks on the image so they can see it as it is with the man watching it...adds perspective somehow...thanks!

  3. a dragon? that's just a trick of the light refracting thru the ice in the atmosphere. It's actually a unicorn.

    1. DaBlade, actually it is the year of the Pig in China, so yep - no dragon this year. I've never seen a unicorn so I'll go with your call.

  4. The only down side to this I can see is that you have to move to Iceland to see it. Ice Land. Cold. Snow. Nah, I'll just look at the pictures. As to unicorns ... didn't they elect Obama in 2008?

  5. I think I get the connection with Sandy O'Cee.

Though eerily beautiful, the Icelanic Aurora looks like a GREEN HOLOCAUST bearing down on the world.

As though Our Civilization were about to be engulfed and incinerated by Green Flames.

    2. Franco, Looks like a delicate and beautiful flower to me. Or maybe some coral waving gently in the ocean current as various colored starfish cling to its rocky perch and as it gazes at great white sharks, sea turtles, jellyfish, and scuba diving cats swim by.

    3. Kid, I admire your healthy sp\irit, and kindly positive outlook.

The Aurora IS beautiful, but when I clicked the image, the sheer SIZE of it in relation to Iceland's horizon lmade it look menacing to me.

And then there was the association with AOC whose sudden popularity may be irrational, but it's DEFINITELY a menace, IF her notoriety lasts much longer.

On a more pleasant note, I also thought of the Emerald City in The Wizard of Oz, and how that magnificent, imposing image could have made that great old movie even greater.

  6. Why the Media Can’t Stop Promoting Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

    American Greatness

    by Lisa Schiffren

By this point, not yet seven weeks into the current congressional term, the whole country has grown tired of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The freshman radical socialist phenom from New York’s 14th congressional district has been radically overexposed by the media. Her gaffes are getting old. Her narcissistic, defensive tweeting is tedious. And yet, the media keeps obliging her with photo ops, social media clips, and endless sound bites. They cannot look away, ...

    1. She's a real barrel of Monkeys Franco ! I hope they don't stop talking about her so that it seems she is the voice of the democrat party. Oddly, I don't think the dem establishment knows what the hell to do about her, which is equally amusing.

Apparently, like any libtard she is impervious to embarrassment so her constant non-reality statements should last at least another coupla years !

  7. People think that green unicorns and dragons are harmless, noble creatures. They need to look at the photo of that beast MENACING Iceland.

  8. Most dragons are good LSP, but we know all unicorns are democrat voters and dumb as rocks.
