Well, I Don't Know if it is Mind Blowing, but it is Interesting

35 Facts about the USA

I'm Verklempt.  Talk amongst yourselves.

  1. Of those 35 facts, I would have not spent the time or money it took to compile the data as the facts in question are completely useless: the number of cows in Montana? The miles of coastline of Alaska? Nobody cares, and just FYI a good percentage of that Alaskan coastline is under ice nearly all the time.

    1. Fredd, the government spends millions if not billions of dollars getting information like this.

Anyway, you're a genius but imagine all the thousands if not millions of millennials who come and read my blog. Someone has to shovel information their way.

    2. Kid, I think someone tried to hurt your feelings again?

    3. bUNK, Naw, Fredd is Ok. He's just a little high strung. :-)

    4. Your feelings may be intact, Kid, but what about MINE? You viciously snubbed a musical hero of mine (The Great and Brilliant Tiny Tim) from your site. My feelings are still crushed on that one. And yet you go on and on about Chet what's-his'face. I'll bet you even like Stevie Ray Vaughn, the most over-rated and un-original musician ever to pick up a 6-string. Him, or George Thorogood.

    5. Fredd, I'm eclectic and all but Tim is Beyond the Pale as they say. I don't even like Ukalalee or even Hawaiin music for that matter.

I'm bored with Stevie actually as well as almost All music from that era. Joe Satriani works for me these days, especially since I didn't even start listening to his stuff until a couple years ago. I downloaded 100+ of his tunes and have most of them on my playlist. 100 tunes I enjoy from a single artist? Unheard of !

    6. Kid: I confess, I am being sarcastic about my love of Tiny Tim's genius. The guy is a flaming weirdo, and has less talent than a steaming pile of fresh dog excrement. I just throw this junk into your comments section in an attempt to dissuade you from straying from your liberal-hating, pinko bashing ways: all of this space stuff and odd ball music takes away from why I like your site. You basically are a conservative pillar and your rants against all things commie ring true with me.

So, I will refrain from my Tiny Tim thing. It was just a ruse that has apparently failed. The guy sucks, and everybody knows it.

      That guy was BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD NOOZE!

Do you ever wonder what happened to Miss Vicky?

      I do!

As a civilzed person, I don't believe in Human Sacrifice.

    8. Thanks so much Fredd. I knew you were being dishonest with your love of Tim.

Well, coming from you, I will try to put something rant-ish together. It's just that the news flow and the personalities involved are so disgusting... I'll give it a shot. The stuff usually comes out of the blue, but I still need to be in a certain mood to have it come through.

    9. Franco, fortunately, I don't even know who Miss Vicky is/was.

    10. I'm ashamed to say I know about Miss Vicky: she was Tiny's blushing bride, and was married to Mr. Tim on Johnny Carson's 'Tonight Show' to a huge TV audience that evening. The ratings of that show at the time rivaled the marriage of Luke and Laura of 'General Hospital,' and the last episode of 'Mash.' Unbelievable, but true. I watched it, I think I was around 17 or 18 at the time, I suppose I could Google all of this, but frankly I have wasted way to much time typing all of this.

I had to Google it: 40 million viewers, 1969, I was 14. It was a big deal. And now I'm done.

    11. Thanks for the information Fredd !

    1. I question this

"96% of all Americans use the internet."

According to the Bleeding Heart DefecRats, the number of desperately poor, unemployed, homeless people and welfare cases is so huge it makes this claim ridiculous.

It costs MONEY to acces the internet, snd I doubt very much it could done sitting in the street or the sidewalk in a squishy stinking pile of your own excrement in the pouring rain.

    2. Franco, welfare people get computers, internet access, pretty much anything they need. A welfare office worker lived across the street from us in out last neighborhood.

Affection is the pearl of greatest price.
    Value it above material wealth.
A chance for closeness may not happen twice.
Loving truly can improve one’s health.
    Ease of conquest should not be the goal;
Nesting instincts point to more than that.
Trust and Loyal Caring make us whole.
Involvement and Commitment long have sat
Nobly ruling high on Virtue’s throne.
    Eros from morality detached
    Crudely goads into a trap well-known ––
Amour becomes a mere Itch .to be Scratched.
Redemption from the loneliness of Lust
Demands we work to earn our Lover’s Trust.

    Washington Free Beacon,

    by Brent Scher

After fretting about whether she´d be able to afford rent, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) has moved into a luxury apartment building in the District of Columbia´s Navy Yard neighborhood, the Washington Free Beacon has learned. Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, got a big raise with her election to Congress, a job that comes with a $174,000 annual salary. (Snip) She ended up moving into a luxury apartment building with a wide array of amenities where rent for even a studio apartment exceeds $2,000 a month.

  5. Well it's all fun and games until someone wants their money back, the bridges fall down and everyone's in jail in a Federal "nature preserve."

Seriously, don't see how we're not heading for a reset.
