Here's a Real Nice Pic. Click On It.  You Know you want to.  Then keep clicking.

Did you notice that blue Hexagon feature at the North pole ? What's up widdat?

  1. Hexagons don't happen in nature. That's very weird. I mean, I used to like Saturn, but not any more.

    2. This raw bigotry against hexagons or other shapes you claim are outside of nature shall not stand!
There's a hexagon. It's in nature. Deal with it.

    3. Ed, Exacterly ! Chet Atkins said "You must always surprise your audience". God surely does the same. God also says "Soooo, you think you have me figured out..."

  2. Hey Saturn, let me know when you step up with a rhombus. Or maybe a parallelogram. OK, the hexagon is really cool... and very peculiar.

    1. DaBlade, My first wife was a Rhombus.

Yea, the fact that hexagon is atmospherical and also not solid causes head scratching.

  3. Not to contradict, but Nature is loaded with clearly identifiable geometric patters on both the micro and the macro levels.

Each SNOWFLAKE is basically a HEXAGON, yet I have read that no two snowflakes are exactly alike. The HONEY COMBS constructed by bees are also uniformly hexagonal.

And then there is the STARFISH whose arms ,if connected at their extremities, would form a PENTAGON.

A microsopic examination of CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURES reveals cubes, and olher geometric shapes endlessly repeated, that comprise the unique physical makeup of the particular crystal in question.

Look at the planets. Couldn't most of them be described as SPHERICAL? Certainy nn is a CUBE or a PYRAMID. ;-)

WIKI has a very interesting, well-illustrated article on Geometric Shapes Found in Nature:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patterns_in_nature

Look up TESSELLATION too while you're at it. FASCINATING!

From the little I know about it the artful logical construction of life forms and inanimate objects has always reassured me that God absolutely MUST exist. All this ORDER and LOGIC in NATURE could never have occurred simply by ACCIDENT.

Why anyone would want to believe it COULD baffles me. I've long had a sneaking suspicion that ATHEISM appeals to people who do not want to accept MORAL RESPONSIBILITY for their ACTIONS.

If there were no GOD, nothing we do, however selfish, stuid, evil and destructive could possibly matter.

If there were no GOD, the planets would all loose ther moorings, tumble out of thleir orbits and start madly colliding with each other. ORDER would not be possible. LIFE would nt be possible. CHAOS would reign SUPREME.

  4. FT, MC Escher made many tessellated drawings and wood cuttings. I think you're mostly right on the atheists. The universe is constantly colliding though, just in really really slow motion. I sure don't buy the pool of chemicals idea.
