Kinda reminds me of lawyerJmmy Stewart's playing which got itself transformed into the background kusic for Anatomy of a Murder only this kid's playing is "punchier."
Anyone remember Anatomy of a Murder? JimmyStewart, Lee Remick, Ben Gazzara and Eve Arden in the most UN-Hollywoodish film they ever made.
At any rate blues piano served as the musical accompaniment through the film –– very unusual at the time –– maybe even unique.
Sadly, the images are badly croped, but at least you'd get an idea of what it's all about. If you like it, I'm sure you could renet a god copy at a video outlet.
The score is by jazz great Duke Ellington, so you now it's gotta be good.
Man oh Man oh Man.
ReplyDeleteEd, Hope that means you liked it :)
