Satriani is quite the player. lkjfoujkm;1111112wsaq Oooops. ERica said hi! We're haviNG our morning "love fest" on my DesK. Hopefully she won't hit the sleep button like she did yesterday. SHE HAS HIT THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON, THOUGH. nEXT UP - CAT DROOL
Adrienne, I recently downloaded every tune Satriani recorded and loaded them on to my flashdrive that goes into my dashboard audio (since I hate radio more than I will get into here) I'm loving the music coming at me on my drives.
I get all my music for free from youtube downloaded to mp3's then edit the mp3's so the volume is normalized and lots of other editing features are available. If anyone is interested in the details let me know and I'll do a post on it.
Howie on the keyboard ! PS - Auasdfuyasdya ! *%Bgetrrr33388 99 Grrrpurrrgratt asa Furragamootomm
It appears our Handsome Howie has a crush on Erica ! Maybe they should hook up. He's fixed btw.
Cube, see comment to Adrienne. I downloaded every tune he's recorded and have only removed 2 of them from the playlist. Heck of a player and songwriter.
Believe me, I've created many mental images secondary to music, but I can't understate the effect of the 80's music videos on my psyche. Videos were ubiquitous and some were really good. Annie Lennox comes to mind. Of course, I'm video oriented as opposed to audio. Mayhaps that's where the video bias lies.
Euripides, I'd put Joe in the top 4 of all time guitar favorites and I've been into guitar all of my life. The 4 are: Chet Atkins, Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani, Tommy Emmanuel. And there is no order to that. They are all unique. Maybe I should say each is number 1 in their respective genre.
He is one gentleman too. Heck of a guy. Have you met, talked to him?
Ed, I am the alien! Anyway, check out his other tunes too if you haven't. There are some great ones there. Great songwriter. If you go to Amazon, then click the details on each of his albums and put the title into youtube, they will all come up. This is how I came to downloading each of his recordings.

I'd never even heard of the guy. Love his guitar work. Thanks for sharing.

DeleteCube, Here is another Fav from back when he had hair Always with me, always with you
DeleteOh, that was wicked good guitar work. It's so good to see a music video without booty-shaking going on and just musicians playing music.
DeleteGlad you liked it Cube. Generally speaking I don't like music video. I like to create my own mental images, but this one was Ok.

DeleteAnnie has a great voice.
DeleteLove Satriani. He makes an appearance at our local music store every year.

DeleteOK, the guy's a shredder, but he's the fastest shredder on the planet. Here's one of my faves:

DeleteI sure do love this tune. Music takes you places, and this tune takes me to more places than any other I can think of.
