    The answer is easy. Liberals lack a grounded sense of history and irony. Both are required to fully appreciate musical poetry.

    Soloman, Steve Winwood has been around a Long time.

    Here's one of the early ones with the Spencer Davis Group An all time classic.

    I'm with ya on the Doors. Every serious rock and roller since then was trying to duplicate the Doors.

    Kid - I know it. I'm a huge fan of the entire British Blues/Rock scene that eventually led up to Cream, Blind Faith, and beyond.
