Here's the Problem

I hear it and see it from every corner of my societal overlap with liberals and progressives (young liberals).

They were brainwashed into thinking everything "Bush" was bad, so a choice in the other direction had to be "good".

They aren't even paying attention, or if they are, anything they perceive that Obama is doing to be distasteful is only being done to punish the rabid red dogs - the Conservatives/Republicans/Right Wing. It won't apply to them. Somehow.

It means Zip that Gitmo isn't closed, Iraq is still going, Afghanistan is ramping up, and Deficits are going exponential. Naw, their little brains can go from hating a $300 billion deficit to Loving a $2 Trillion deficit in the flash of short circuited neuron.

In fact, details such as these only even get noticed by the more intellectual of the liberals. The rest of them spend most of their time looking for fun and dreaming about cars that run on air and spit valium out the exhaust pipe.

I asked one a couple weeks ago, who works at a restaurant I frequent, what he thought of cap and trade. He never heard of it. A piece of legislation being pounded into America by the hip black president he loves and voted for, that will double his utility bill, kill millions in poor countries by squeezing resources and raising prices, and he never heard of it.

So this is the problem. Like the former KGB agent tells us, it will be years, if ever, that these people even understand what is being done to their country. Will they accept responsibility ? Ah, No.
