The Cone

All I can say is the American media is a pedantic and pathetic group of adolescent self-absorbed assholes.

Click the Picture.

  1. WOW, gorgeous..ethereal...all those stars around the 'thing' look like what artists use to illustrate the Star of Bethlehem, don't they?..with the beautiful 'cross' shaped shine?
Things like this show us just how STUPID and PATHETIC and UNIMPORTANT CNN and FOX are (to only name a few things we've been talking about) are, huh?

    1. Z, It's why I love the big picture so much. Earthly things are so unimportant.

    2. PS, MOST of this stuff is in our own galaxy of which there are Trillions of.

  2. Before I clicked the picture and read the description, I gave it the 'ink blot' and 'cloud shape' test to imagine what it reminded me of.. all I could come up from that blob was Michael Moore. Then I read the description, in part: "the region pictured here surrounding the cone's blunted head is a mere 2.5 light-years across." Obviously, Moore's head is not 'blunted', and I assume somewhat larger than this collection of stellar gas and dust.

    1. Mr Blade, imo, michael moore would be the dark fat bottom part of this image.

  3. I'm sorry to be the one to say it, but this one looks oddly obscene –– reminds me of malformed or mutilated male genitalia.

    2. Michael Moore certainly is a PRICK. No doubt about that. He's also an ASSHOLE.

How anyone could be both at the same time, I don't know, but Michael Moore really IS. He's also a FAT PIG who has to hire some poor soul to wipe his butt for him no doubt.

    1. Sig, Beyond imagination but fun to look at. Nice how in our time, the smart people figured out how to display this stuff to us as it would just be a light bluish form to the naked eye.
