The Pranks Continue !

  1. That's a great costume. Question: Why do so many people want to touch or pat him? I don't think that's something that would occur to me to do. Next, not trying to be all mean and virtue signalling here, but you can't help noticing how chubby (okay - obese) everyone is. It makes me not want to not eat for the next couple of months for fear someone will catch me one of these vids and everyone will point and laugh.

    1. Adrienne, Yea, I don't think I'd be inclined to want to touch the statue. I haven't so far anyway when in the presence of statues....

On the chubby... :-) I almost included a comment that this must have occurred in the midwest, or southern midwest. These were not people who live in California or Idaho - to make it brief. Cincinnati maybe. There are No good looking people in Cincinnati, take my word for it.

    2. Hey ... you leave us 'more to hug - chubbies' alone - it took ALOT of work to get to look like this!!! haha. :)
Much of this 'extra' is due to Chems in the food that prohibit processing it correctly. Granted it's life-style too, but some ingredients block system functioning and the body doesn't get the nutrition it needs, so it's hungry - put more 'none nutritious food in and still 'unsatisfied'. Like a 'Boston Legal' show years ago where Candice is going up against the big 'junk food' Corp. for putting ingredients in Twinkie's (or something similar) that make a person want to eat more and more (can't stop), resulting in becoming obese. Similarly to the chems they put in cigs to make them more addictive, same 'device' with the junk food. Notice the word: 'obese' ... O Beast! thumbprint.

    3. dc, First off, I smoked for 42 years and stayed around 170 lbs. Quit in 2005 and my metabolism changed immediately. I kept cutting food items out and soon I was eating about 4 times less calories a day and the weight is a challenge.

Now I have to decide if I want to spend half my life on a tread mill.
I never eat desert, and don't even like sweets.

I've wondered if 'they' are putting stuff in the food to make people fatter because you see so many heavy people and not necessarily older people. We've had a pretty easy lifestyle for a long time so I don't think that explains much.

I think we baby boomers are a real problem for government from an SS, medicare etc point of view. Government would have never planned to be able to handle it being the poster boys and girls for kicking the can down the road. I wouldn't be at all shocked to find out they are working in ways like this to get us to die sooner. I am convinced that was part of the motive for creating obamacare. The other part was putting the Insurers out of business (which is almost already happened as the big insurers say they are on a death spiral) and re-routing all that money through DC.

      Stay happy dc.

    4. Yep, understand where you're coming from. The older we get the more difficult it is to be fit and trim! I guess if we look at the Quakers and such sorts, we see a different breed of people - active and are kept in better shape for it! Yes, a smile back to ya! :) that uses calories too!

    5. Re: touching a statue, the economic reporter on the morning news show I watch reports that the iconic Wall Street bull statue has his balls touched more often than any other part of its body. She can't explain the attraction either.

Re: the large bodies, I think part of it is the hidden sugar in our diets. If one bagel has 10 teaspoons of sugar, can you imagine how much a doughnut has? Cutting back on carbs is hard mostly because you have to look for carbs where you wouldn't think there were any.

    6. Cube, I can only conclude that women touch the bull more than men...

Bagel's have super concentrated carbs imo. I was actually gaining weight eating bagles back when I was a super stud and I traced it back to bagels.

    7. I can't speak about the breakdown, but I can understand the familiarity angle of your point.

    8. Cube, breakdown? Now break dancing is something of recent popular culture I could get into.

    2. C-CS, This may have been the last one for a while. Most of the other vids on pranks aren't as funny or have a lot of dark moments. Really scary like people dressed up to be killer clowns and stuff that could actually give someone a heart attack.

    3. I didn't get the memo about Prank Week. I thought pranks could happen all year long ;)

    4. Cube. Blame DaBlade for the lack of a memo. I've done about everything with DaBlade that I can outside of offering him immunity. He's a wascley one.
