Too many republicans have gotten caught up in politics, and the 'game of marketing themselves to voters'.
Here's my advice to you. Recognize that the country is in the shitter and convince us you will devote yourself to returning this country to a capitalist-private sector growth centric vibrant country and you will have our votes. You will have enough votes. Screw the worthless bastards who want free houses or want you to 'reach across the aisle to communists' because they are dumbasses. Let them live in the ditch alongside the road while the rest us get busy and make this country the shining city on the hill again.
And if you can't get enough votes working for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, then it's not worth a damn anyway.

ReplyDeleteAhem. Republicans are not the solution to the problems facing our country. Republicans are a part of the problem. I've said this for years. Look no further than the reaction of the party to O'Donnel's win in Delaware, or Lisa Murkowski's reaction to her primary loss in Alaska, or the revelations about Crisit's use of party funds in Florida. I repeat, Republicans are not the solution to this country's problems. Republicans are a part of the problem. Thank you.

Arby, I absolutely agree. The repubs are not lily white for sure, but they've also been beaten down into believe you have to try to please everyone to get elected and stay elected. Then the Dems come along when the pendulum swings left and do a lot of damage to America, while the repubs only slow down the process at best.

Many will not believe that, they'll think, this is business as usual pendulum swinging, but things like health care and the forcing of minority (read: incompetent bastards) into the social services and the health care business, just to mention a couple, will turn this country into a shit hole.

America is not ready to vote in an independent, so I think the Tea Party is the best way to go, they can run as a Republican / Tea Party member. With any luck they can transform the party and kick some communist ass.
