CHARLES MANSON at long last is DEAD. The rotten bastard was 83.
HELL WELCOMES its NEW RESIDENT with OPEN CLAWS.
HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH!
I, personally, resent the taxpayers being forced to keep this diseased PIECE of SHIT alive for so many decdes. He should have been EXECUTED within seconds after he was found GUILTY.
Manson was a TRULY Evil Man. Yet we kept him alive. It galls me to think of what we are now doing to Judge ROY MOORE who is the victim of a particularly vicious Political Hit Job, when he is anything but an Evil Man.
Just to be clear. I enjoy the tune because it Does make me remember those I love, humans and pets who are no longer here. It is both sad and joyful to remember them and celebrate who they were on this Earth.
All, What is interesting to me about Satriani tunes is that they are so complex I cannot remember them from start to finish. I can replay bits and pieces, but if I want to 'hear' them I have to play them. I think it's going to a long time before I get tired of his music.
It's THANKSGIVING DAY. It has started well for me, thank God. Lots of pleasant correspondence with friends old and new, and my few remaining family members as well.
No Big Dinner for me today. I am at home by myself, but I am grateful to have many wonderful memories from years past, enough money to live comfortably, a very nice house that is a lifelong dream come true, and two charming pussycats –– Winner and Mr.Pussy –– to share it with.
I am thankful to be alive at age 76, and to be able to walk, talk, think.write and play the piano My eyesight's pretty well shot, but I still see well enough to get around, thank God.
The state of our blessed country bothers the hell out of me, but I'm still very grateful to have been born here at a time when there was still so much to lcelebrate, love and enjoy about being an American.
Hope all of you have a wonderful day today, and remain well, free from harm, free from sadness and full of optimism.
i thank You God for most this amazing day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today, and this is the sun’s birthday; this is the birth day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing breathing any–lifted from the no of all nothing–human merely being doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
Very dark and sad song.
ReplyDeleteIt is a sad tune Adrienne. It makes me think of absent friends human and otherwise.
DeleteCool tune, and I get the absent friends here. Or simply reminiscing a time when he had hair?
ReplyDeleteDaBlade, Don't know what motivated the melody of course, but the title suggests goodbye to someone or something important. Heck of a composer.
DeleteI know Satriani is considered great, but I can relate much more easily to Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins. And Tony Mottola too for that matter.
ReplyDeleteThis seems fo VIOLENT and DEPRESSING o me. I can't honestly say I like it.
The music reviewer for my paper is doing a review of a Tommy Emmanuel concert he just saw for our December issue. Sorry I missed the show.
DeleteEd, Tommy does SUCH an excellent show. If you can, check out Tommy's site/tours to see if/when he is in your area.
DeleteTommy at his Best
Delete.
This a good interview of the Guy that just wants to be there for the next show.
TS/WS - Thanks for the Link !
DeleteHere is one of his greatest compositions imo
TS/WS, got around to listening to the whole vid. Loved it. Thank you. Tommy is It.

ReplyDeleteGERMANY IN CRISIS: MERKEL UNABLE TO FORM NEW GOVT...
FOURTH TERM IN DOUBT...
Read it all at DRUDGE, if you want to be bothered.
Wouldn't you just LOVE to see that stupid, dowdy old, MuSlime-worshipping, globalist bitch tossed into the DUMPSTER for good and all?
DeleteI would!

FT, Overall I like the tune.
DeleteAgree on Manson
How merkel got elected again is beyond me. I've got quite a large list for the dumpster.
Here's another one though. kathy griffin can't find any work. About fooking time for that. Who ever thought that that piece of shit was funny.
Just to be clear. I enjoy the tune because it Does make me remember those I love, humans and pets who are no longer here. It is both sad and joyful to remember them and celebrate who they were on this Earth.

A French Affair
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
I did TS/WS.
DeleteHave you seen this one?
He is 61 after all.
ReplyDeletePlaying like he is timeless.
Joe Satriani is 61.
ReplyDeleteDon't know- how old is Tommy Emmanuel?
TS/WS, I think Tommy and I are the same age - 65-ish. He does 300 concerts a year. I do none. :-)
DeleteHere is a good one of JS.
ReplyDeleteThe Beginning
Have seen it man. Thanks. Tommy and Joe are the two most excellent Composers of our time.
