  2. Cool tune, and I get the absent friends here. Or simply reminiscing a time when he had hair?

    1. DaBlade, Don't know what motivated the melody of course, but the title suggests goodbye to someone or something important. Heck of a composer.

  3. I know Satriani is considered great, but I can relate much more easily to Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins. And Tony Mottola too for that matter.

This seems fo VIOLENT and DEPRESSING o me. I can't honestly say I like it.

  4. OFF-TOPIC but G-R-E-A-T GOOD NEWS:

CHARLES MANSON at long last is DEAD. The rotten bastard was 83.

HELL WELCOMES its NEW RESIDENT with OPEN CLAWS.

    HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH!

I, personally, resent the taxpayers being forced to keep this diseased PIECE of SHIT alive for so many decdes. He should have been EXECUTED within seconds after he was found GUILTY.

Manson was a TRULY Evil Man. Yet we kept him alive. It galls me to think of what we are now doing to Judge ROY MOORE who is the victim of a particularly vicious Political Hit Job, when he is anything but an Evil Man.

  6. Just to be clear. I enjoy the tune because it Does make me remember those I love, humans and pets who are no longer here. It is both sad and joyful to remember them and celebrate who they were on this Earth.

  7. All, What is interesting to me about Satriani tunes is that they are so complex I cannot remember them from start to finish. I can replay bits and pieces, but if I want to 'hear' them I have to play them. I think it's going to a long time before I get tired of his music.

    Hoping for a new album.

  8. It's THANKSGIVING DAY. It has started well for me, thank God. Lots of pleasant correspondence with friends old and new, and my few remaining family members as well.

No Big Dinner for me today. I am at home by myself, but I am grateful to have many wonderful memories from years past, enough money to live comfortably, a very nice house that is a lifelong dream come true, and two charming pussycats –– Winner and Mr.Pussy –– to share it with.

I am thankful to be alive at age 76, and to be able to walk, talk, think.write and play the piano My eyesight's pretty well shot, but I still see well enough to get around, thank God.

The state of our blessed country bothers the hell out of me, but I'm still very grateful to have been born here at a time when there was still so much to lcelebrate, love and enjoy about being an American.

Hope all of you have a wonderful day today, and remain well, free from harm, free from sadness and full of optimism.
