  2. You're a hopeless romantic. All I see in the first pic is a full pig's bladder. Sheesh. I know... it's just me.

    1. Mr Blade, It's a tulip from the side angle. One that's been bitten on by a re-engineered woolly mammoth mind you but still. And yes there is a bright eyed alien leftish top center who has this on his youtube channel, as well as the Teal colored Arches of the new galactic McDonald's franchise right upper center. I'm not seeing the pig parts but if any moslems show up, that'll be my story for them.

  3. Kid,
Thanks to you, I visit the APOD site every day. The other day, I made that top photo my Facebook banner.

BTW, are you aware of these sites: European Astronomy Picture of the Day and Cosmic Art Photography? Sometimes I find some good stuff at those two sites.

  7. Wow, such a pretty picture. Love the colours. Really stunning.

Thanks for your comment on Cube's page. I'm looking for less chemicals. My bad for not saying that. But I'd also like them not to use animal testing. Oh ... I ask too much, me thinks.

    Happy Weekend and boogie boogie.

    1. Happy W. Welcome.

The space guys have really been putting out some great stuff for a while. You may want to bookmark that main page of Astronomy Picture of the Day.

I also hate animal testing. I believe we can accomplish things without abusing other life forms if we put some effort into it. I don't like chemicals either. I avoid using man made food products.

This is a beautiful place, this is an ugly place.

  8. One must wonder what this would look like up close to a naked eyeball as opposed to the view from that new improved super Galilieoian device.

    1. Well, without the chemical composite color filtering, it would just be a light blue cloud looking thing.
