WTF?

Seriously.

I'll just say, I'm not worried about them. Not in the least.

Or you tell me, should I book a flight and go in search of?

  1. Don't book a flight, you'll go missing, too.
The father said the couple was naive... he is right. I hope they are found safe and sound, but since there has been no request for ransom...???? Why a pregnant woman would go on an adventure like this is beyond me, but people do things for different reasons, so who am I to question their motives?

  2. TCL, Oh yea, anyone is free to do what they please. And she is also 'ailing'? Looking for health care in all the wrong places?

Naive has to be the understatement of the last 2 centuries. And I hope they get back safe also, but now the family has brought this attention to them ! You gotta know there are thousands of jihadists who would love to find and kill them. Shakin my head and it won't be the last time.

But I'm not worried about them. I'll save my worrying for people who put an honest effort into their own safety.

  5. "... he described his daughter as "naive" and "adventuresome" with a humanitarian bent."

He might as well have said, "Born to be raped and strangled." What a pity the men in her life never sought to protect her by a) teaching her that many, many human beings are wicked, and b) there are certain places where a sickly, pregnant white female should not go, like the south side of Chicago and Afghanistan..

    1. Trying again :)

It's a wonder she/people like this make it this long in life Sig with thought processes like that. And could have easily been S. Chicago. I almost got whacked there once myself outside a convenience store. If the bum would have had a couple friends they probably would have went for it.

Anyway, missing for months without communicating home. They're already gone and the patents are in denial. Or something stupid is going on like they're CIA like the Iran hikers and some kind of game is being played. Or it's a fake story.

But there are certainly plenty of people running around stupid enough to travel the KillmsAssNowPlease-istans on some sort of adventure.

  6. what the HECk is with these people? Mr Z used to go ballistic when he saw situations were naive people put strong people in jeopardy as they go try to FIND THEM, or save them, etc. It's a sad story, but..REALLY? And PREGNANT?
    WOW .
    I hope they're alive...and well.

    1. Z, I don't do the crazy comment things, this is plain vanilla blogger commenting and you're doing just fine. Probably better than that actually. :)

Yea really. Let's stop the world for every person who wants to swim across the ocean covered in Chum.

  7. Kid: Rhetorical question here. If dumb ol' Fredd were to go swimming in shark infested Carribean waters after strapping 37 juicy, blood dripping T-bone steaks to his arms, legs, and torso, and then suddenly and mysteriously dissappeared, how long would it take for you to round up a search party?

And perhaps fly around in a helicopter over the last known location of 'T-bone Fredd,' asking all the sharks through a bullhorn if they knew the whereabouts of a decent guy who just happened to like to strap meat to his body....

I can just hear Kid now: "Aw, he'll be just fine. He'll turn up eventually.'

  8. These idiots surely qualify for the 2012 Darwin Award, since they clearly, most decidedly (and perhaps 'naively') decided to remove themselves from the gene pool.
