This thing is actually out there. And doesn't it look like a large creature of some sort getting a drink at the bottom? And what the heck is that translucent egg looking thing near the top right?

I think that this is my new second favorite to the Crab Nebula. So beautiful! Thanks for the shares, Kid!
ReplyDeletendh77 - I like the crab nebula a lot. Especially the latest pictures. It looks like a fantastic jewel.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the pics.
This is so cool, The stars always have the most interesting shapes and forms, and we can imagine anything with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting Kid.
This photograph was likley taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, a modern marvel whose orbit will decay and then tumble into a fiery death, now that the Obama administration has determined that he would rather distribute NASA directed revenues from our tax dollars to crack whores and his politically connected union buddies than towards maintenance of cancelled projects such as the Hubble telescope.
ReplyDeleteBunni, the pleasure is all mine. ;-]
ReplyDeleteFredd, I know he doesn't want to. I know he wants to direct every penny to black people who the Democrats have held in bondage again by creating welfare, Er, I mean, the white crackers have held down all this time.
ReplyDeleteThe rest goes to the unions who paid to put the sucka in office.

ReplyDeleteCarol-CS
Carol-CS, I don't have the answers, but I sure don't believe the source of all this was an accident.
ReplyDeleteJust fantastic scenery. Makes you want to park your rocket and gawk for a while.
ReplyDeleteSig, Nothing like rocket parking near wonders like these. Specially with the right co-pilot.
ReplyDeleteAPOD's really been cranking them out lately. Nice one today too.
Great, after looking at it for a few minutes I had to take a leak.
ReplyDeleteSig, maybe that's why God created it. To serve for that one moment.
