So, this kid doesn't even shave yet and plays better than most 60 year old guitar players ever did that I've heard or know about. Seriously -considering all the stuff I've heard him play so far.
Here's Joe and crew relaxing at home. Or somewhere that he's not wearing shoes anyway.

Some people have natural talent. Good find.

Kid?
ReplyDeleteYou haven't pounded liberalism or Obama for quite a while now. Have you been converted to the 'dark side?'
Let me give you a few acid test questions to see if you are still with us:
1) Are Republicans just amoral, stupid or simply evil? Or all of the above is also a choice.
2) Which do you prefer: Coca Cola or Welch's Grape soda?
3) Who is the most intelligent person in the world, Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton?
4) Who injected more heroine into their veins: Eric Clapton (or Clapner, per Jocyln Elders), Ginger Baker, Jimi Hendrix or Janice Joplin?
More talent in his little finger than I ever had for guitar.
ReplyDeleteFredd, I got one a them there posts coagulating right now..
ReplyDeleteAs to the CIQ test..
1. Yes
2. Orange Juice
3. Nyet
4. All of the above? I'm thinking Mr Baker tho.
Thanks for keeping my brain working :)
admiral, I could maybe give his little finger a run for its money but outside of that.
ReplyDeleteAnd unless you've been to youtube, you haven't seen him with a thumb pick yet or playing some of Tommy's great tunes.
that was admirable. I also like the Every Day People video for the Tea Party pn your side bar.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, Thank you. That's one of my favorite tunes and is my favorite Sly Stone tune.
ReplyDeleteThe 'Admiral' bit is about the web site USA Admiral on my right sidebar as he keeps us up to date on the vermin who are kicked off the island via Lethal Injection...
taking up the guitar again- signed up for the last classic class I can take--what do you think- after that - should I go electronic!
ReplyDeleteCarol-CS
Carol-CS, the Electric is harder to play. You have to be so precise. Mistakes are amplified.
