I see the Liberal Lobotomy patients are wringing their little hands over the Polar Bears Again...

So, I did a super fast Google search and pulled the following right off the first page of results.

I also went to the US Fish and Wildlife website and it looks like the Polar as of 2008 was /is listed as a special rule endangered species - but the bottom line is that the hunting permits have not been reduced from levels they have been at for decades, which certainly makes the case that the suckers are not really an endangered species, else hunting permits would be reduced, and costs for hunting them would most certainly rise and the rules and times for hunting would certainly become much more complex than what has been quoted above.

Do your own search and let me know if you can find evidence that hunting these beautiful deadly creatures will be curtailed anytime in the near future.

In the meantime, don't worry about the polar bears folks. Even if the ice goes away completely, they have dealt with that situation before since the Earth Has Spent Most of Its Time Without Ice Caps.
