For any reason, when a soldier dies while in service to their country, forgive the tax nonsense. City, State and Federal. Make it Happen.
The proper military authority sends the SSN to the relative state and the IRS. These entities then do not require tax forms to be sent for these individuals.
This is an idea whose time has come. Thanks for the great post.

ReplyDeleteIt's unfortunate in a way that only a small percentage of our population is military or military family. Maybe we'd see some action on these type things.
You'd think Congress would actually look out for them, but hey, Congress had a moment of Silence for Michael Jackson, but Ed MacMahon for example who was most proud of his long and danger filled Marine service gets a blurb from the media about being 'Johnny's Sidekick' and a kick in the ass from the Congress.
