I didn't have any problem with the drums on this one. Some of his other tunes have a too imposing Boom.... Boom.... Boom drum line that I can find annoying and some other tunes I find the melody is not out in front as much as it should be relative to drums and/or Bass. But this one is fine. Simple feel good meandering by the babbling brook smell the roses type of tune. Probably good for a light romantic dance followed by a Pinot Noir, heavy on the cherry notes.
Please forgive me for posting the review. It IS relevant to ALL of us and will be ALWAYS.
_______________ SOTU REVIEW _______________
President Trump has already been privately criticized for "parroting" Bill Clinton's SOTU of twenty-odd years ago. To this I said:
If a REPUBLICAN expresses and idea, it’s automatically regarded by the ENEMEDIA as unspeakably VILE. If a DEMOCRAT should say the same thing, however, the presstitutes will immediately say it deserves to be inscribed in 24K gold letters on the frieze of one of the District of Columbias’s many whited sepulchers
Now, those of you who delight in harping on the president's widely reported use of vulgar, inappropriate language – at a PRIVATE meeting ––, the president has faltly denied saying the ugly-if-singularly-appropriate word. Why are you apparently eager to believe that he did say ut? And "at this point what difference does it make” anyway? ];^}>
President Trump’s style last night could only be described as dignified, restrained, –– even a bit subdued –- but he remained admirably focused on others he deemed worthy of recognition, applause and compassionate consideration throughout.
His addresst was strong without being unduly belligerent or bellicose regarding our adversaries abroad. His leisurely-paced delivery of the carefully prepared address was flawless, –– poised, relaxed, obviously sincere –– and impressively generous in its regard for the needs and feelings of others. I didn’t count them, of course, but the number of times he said “I” were notably sparse.
I was never an admirer of Mr. Trump in the past, but I have been mightily impressed with how beautifully he has grown since he first entered the race to take on the daunting, always thankless task of trying to lead the Free World to a much needed Renaissance before the darkness of tyrannical Globalist Socialism administered by an Oligarchy of Self-Serving Moguls and Intellectual Morons imposes mutually-shared poverty and degradation on all of us forever.
May God protect our president, as He continues to bless America!
FT, The people who the Trump's and the repubs brought to the SOTU demanded restraint and respect and those things you described for Trump's delivery of information and concepts. This was not a time to be trolling the media or the democrats in Tweetlike fashion. I din't watch the whole thing in full disclosure though, but believe I have the flavor of it.
On the other side do the defecrats Really think going Total Anti-American is what their message should be? Do they not notice the NFL ratings and attendance and that situation is MINOR compared to their disgusting display at SOTU. I hope we are witnessing the end of the democrat/communist party.
If only Trump would stop clapping when he's just said something good and everyone is clapping. I get his point; he's clapping THE POINT, not HIM, but it's weird and being disdained...even by Reps :-(
Yes, the clapping thing is a little off-putting, Z, but did you see the breakdown of the numerous times he used the word "we" in contrast to obama's "I" and "me"? So I will allow the self congratulatory standing ovation :)
Cool tune. I hope this young man makes it and gets famous.
ReplyDeleteWell he's been trying for 30 yrs.....
DeleteDaBlade, I tell everyone about him. I think he's gonna do well. His next album should put him over the top.
DeleteI meant that I hope YOU get famous one day, Kid.
DeleteMr Blade, Unlikely Friend. I don't have the discipline for it. Maybe that could change. We'll see.
DeleteIt aint fer nuttin dat Fame is known as The Bitch Goddess, Kid.
DeleteIt's more of a curse than a blessing.
I sure don't wanna be a Bitch Goddess, that's for sure :)
DeleteI wouldnt worry about that, Kid. It's not possible in your case.
DeleteYou could never be one. You just don't want to wind up WORSHIPPING one.

Nice intonation. The plodding drum line clogs it up some.

DeletePleasant enough tune.
ReplyDeleteYea, just a pleasant tune to start winding up a long day.
DeleteI'm more of a Tuba Skinny guy.
ReplyDeleteTuba Skinny is a bit 1910-ish for me.
DeleteMe too. :)
DeleteJoe's great, but President Trump is much greater.

C-CS, Yes, I am personally concerned about DJT's welfare myself knowing what the DNC is capable of. They have no problem killing people.
Delete"American's are dreamers too".
DeletePerfect!

DeleteZ, Blade, I think he was clapping for America not himself.
DeleteGlad you liked the tune Z. Just a nice cup of green tea on the way to bed with a soft and warm kittycat.
I saw Clinton do the same thing to work the crowd.
DeleteDonald does it to join the crowd.
