2016 ELECTIONS !!!

Well, it's like this - all but about 5 states are either solid red(repubblekin) or blue(democrat bastards) each and every election.  The remaining 5 states are what they call swing states.  They are full of idiot freaking morons who can't decide which party to vote for from one election to the next.

The election result therefore is constrained to be totally reliant on 5 states full of freaking morons that have very loose voter identification laws.

That's right.  People like This

    1. Adrienne, Kind of surprised at that as I hadn't heard it yet. I thought Cruz might try for the contested. Well, Trump is NOT the beast, and regardless of what he will or won't do, that I wouldn't bet a dime on either way, he will at least be entertaining if he gets the job.

I'll take that in spades over the beast, let alone ANY democrat.

Your opinion Mademoiselle? - I'm seeing some headlines and other tidbits which I won't try to define here that indicate clinton is pretty worried about being able to beat Trump. Have you gotten this impression at all ?

  3. Trump will grab a couple of northeastern blue states, like New York and New Jersey. Maybe even Massachusetts.

Blue collar, poorly educated Democrats, who have voted for Democrats because their fathers voted for Democrats, will vote for Trump. You just wait and see, Kid. You heard it here first.

And don't listen to Ed, he's not feeling well ever since Jeb! bit the dust.

    2. Scott Walker was a YUUUUUUGE disappointment. Done a great job as governor of The Cheese State. I was all for him –– at first –– but when his moment to shine arrived, his light flickered, dimmed, sputtered and DIED. He came across like a DUD.

It may be a shame, but unless you have "CHARISMA" you can't get to first base in national politics. That's what JFK and TV have done to American politics. JFK struck women as SEXIER than Richard Nixon and too many men as more "dynamic."

If women had never gotten the franchise, politics would be a lot simpler, cleaner, more direct and a helluva lot cheaper.

    3. Fredd, I hope you're right on turning a couple blue states. That would do the trick.

Gold is dancing on the head of a pin right now. Wait for the situation to clear up.
Could easily go either way, but short term I'm looking for down.

    4. FT, Agree on Walker, I was a fan.

  4. Ed: I think Scott Walker would have done a bang up job as president. Or Carly Fiorina, or Chris Christie. Or Rand Paul. Or Rick Santorum. Or even Jim Gilmore. Or Rick Perry. Or George Pataki. Or especially Bobby Jindahl. I could go on. But I won't.

    1. Cube, I should have put a smiley on my reply there to FT. Yea, I'm not offended. True Conservatives don't care/want people to do what they want as long as we don't have to pay for it. That pretty much covers it too.

    2. Personally, I'm voting Trump over Hillary. She scares me more than the Donald.

    3. Cube, I don't trust Trump at all to do anything useful. yet, I know exactly what we get with the beast, and mainly that is a 6-3 libtard supreme court. Youngins too. There is no recovery from that. None. And that's just for starters. I could make a long list, but why create anxiety. It's going to turn out how it turns out.

I have my one vote. At least I'm in a swing (moron) state so I know my vote will count for something.

    4. So, you'll vote for the devil you know before the one you don't? To me, Hillary is the worst of all worlds.

  9. AOW, I'm afraid your link is a bridge to nowhere. But yes, there is a long way to go.

  10. AOW, Thanks. I think part of the effect represented there is that the people that push one candidate over the other don't start paying attention until late in the game. I know too many people who say they will listen to the final debates (on a par with commercials for chevy malibus) and decide then.

Did you see IMP's graphic over at Geeez showing (in Indiana) the large increase in voters for Trump over Romney (2012 race), and the large decrease in voters for hilrod in 2008 vs 2016? That was encouraging. and Indiana is a swing state. If that is representative of reality there be a whole lot of voter fraud they gonna have to do in Indiana.
